I bought these because I often avoid using fresh herbs in my food because I hate the chopping. What I found is that these did next to nothing on my cilantro.On the other hand, they worked GREAT for cutting uniform slices of scallions and chives. I can also faux-chiffonade herbs like basil and mint. So, they weren't a waste of money and I will use them. They just are not as versatile as I expected.

Bought two. I bought one as a gift and then after seeing it, needed to buy one for myself. Decent quality and has a variety of uses!

Will NOT shred the delivery information on the plastic bags used by Amazon and others, and that is the primary reason I ordered these. They do seem sturdy and will work for paper.

Great help in the kitchen

The most worthless and dullest scissors I every bought. These scissors could not even cut through a simple wad of shredded paper. Let alone expecting it to cut through food. There is just no way this was made or intended to be useful. I wasn't asking for it to be a perfect product due to its price. But on the other hand, even if it's supposed to be cheap given its price, it's a pair of scissors, and it's useless.I could probably buy a simple scissors at a dollar store and do better than this. Maybe they were hoping for customers not to return this. And scissors are supposed to be cheap in the first place. That doesn't mean you should keep a crap, worthless product. I repeat, I did not buy this for cutting food, but it seems they were marketing it towards that.I was hoping, at the very least, that I could chop up PAPER with a breeze. Buyers and consumers be warned. It is my suggestion that it would be worth your time to return this. Otherwise, it just seems like you are promoting junk and for more junk to be sold. But maybe you will see this review and further save more time by not getting this.
