Wish the straps had some padded cushions on them. If this is too loose, it keeps falling. If too tight, hurts head after awhile. Hard to find that right spot. If they had some padded cushions on the straps that go over the forehead, they would be great. But it definitely does the job of providing safety and protection.

This product is easy to put together and adjustable but the face shield is very thin and flimsy. I purchased this item for safety while grinding locks off auctions units but im scared to try it out because of the thinness of the glass.

One of the best and most cost effective safety devises I have. I use it for grinding, using a chain saw, cutting with a sawsall, etc. Any work that could result in something getting in my eyes. Much more effective at keeping stuff from getting in my eyes than any safety glasses.

The product is excellent. It's fairly light-weight, comfortable and easy to see out of. The face shield is large, so I feel well protected behind it. Overall, I'm very happy with it.However, it really, really needs assembly instructions. First, the shield is hard to put on the headpiece. What you need to do is move from the longer holes in the shield toward the smaller one, sliding each in turn so that the next hole lines up. I noticed a lot of people saying that the holes don't line up. They don't. You need to make them line up by putting the holes on the tabs one at a time.Also, the shield has a thin, translucent blue plastic film that needs to be removed. It's not at all obvious how to take it off, so you need to pick at the film at the corner. When it first arrived, I thought it was just low quality, but there's actually a piece of plastic film stuck to it.Boy, does this product need instructions. I noticed several people saying they were going to return it because of the above problems. Once assembled though, it is excellent.

I’m surprised my the other reviews.The product and purchasing experience equates to 0 starsThe only positive was the fast shipping.One of the small buttons that attach the shield to the head gear snapped off as I was putting the item together.The plastic on this shield is very cheap and rigid...not much better than dollar store quality.The worst part of this experience was trying to get in touch with the seller who has a website but no phone number.I attempted to send an email through their website but no answer.They did answer through amazon once I sent a complaint but never addressed my issue with the button that snapped off the head gear and should have been replaced...I would never buy from CanadaTool again.

This is a terrible product. The shield is very thin and I'd argue that it won't protect your face for grinding work. All the plastics are very thin and flimsy.One of the bolts that tightens the visor is broken and I can't tighten it. Non-returnable item and now I'm on the hook for $25.
