Worth the very good price.
Arrived as ordered and at time expected. VERY easy to put on rifle, perfect fit (DPMS Oracle/AR 15). Very soft, absorbs all the recoil of .223. Have used it twice, about 250 rounds, so can't speak to durability yet, but no problems so far. Very good product. Would recommend to anyone. -- 9/29/19, wanted to add to my review. Still VERY pleased with the product. Took my daughter and son to the range, they had shot a rifle only once before. Using my DPMS Oracle with the LimbSaver pad, neither child (well, 18 & 19 year olds) could feel the recoil of the .223. Have put over 600 rounds through the gun since installing the pad, still looks and performs like brand new. I have read many other reviews, particularly the few negative ones, most of which are 2 or 3 years old. It appears this will not fit on a Magpul stock and is difficult to fit on some other brands of rifle. One trick I used, from another review, was to put on the bottom of the pad first and work it on from the bottom up. It went on very easily for me on my Oracle. High quality product, durable, looks good on the gun, very much worth the price!

It's awesome
I bought my son his first deer rifle and used the AR platform. The solid, non-ergonomic butt plate was not comfortable for him so I added the Limbsaver recoil pad. It made an amazing difference in both comfort and felt recoil which is a big deal when kids are learning to shoot. It fits great on the adjustable stock, which must have the 1/4" lip on the butt plate.I'll probably buy a couple more and an added benefit is that the soft rubber pad keeps the stock from sliding when I lean it against something!Definitely a good product. The seller also got it shipped out fast and I got it 2 days earlier than estimated!

Shoulder Saver!!!!
I purchased this recoil pad a couple years ago for my .50 Beowulf which creates an uncomfortable amount of recoil. I tried a couple other brands but they were designed primarily as a way to make the hard scratchy buttstocks more comfortable on light recoiling calibers. If you are shooting light recoiling calibers such as .223/5.56, 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC you can easily get away with using the much less expensive pads. However, if you are shooting calibers such as .308/7.62, .450 Bushmaster, .458 SOCOM or the .50 Beowulf this model LimbSaver is well worth the addded expense. The LimbSaver recoil pad heps in two ways. First, it does help absorb recoil but it also makes the recoil energy that makes it to your shoulder MUCH more comfortable which is a huge plus when shooting heavy calibers. I read several low score reviews that said this recoil pad wouldn't fit their particular AR15/M4 stocks. The recoil pad is designed specifically for the multi-position collapsible type stocks so as long as you are mounting it on such a stock, you are good to go. It may be difficult, scratch that, it WILL be difficult to get on but keep the faith, it will go on. If you just can't get it to pop on try one of the tricks mentioned by other reviewers such as using a small amount of Vaseline or dipping the pad in hot water to make it more pliable. Remember, even if you are frustrated and have convinced yourself it won't work and already planning your scathing "this sucks" review...give it a break and come back later and try because it will go on. I expected it to go on fairly easily and it does for some folks but, for me, it required a few choice swear words and a walk away break before it would go on. The second attempt got it mounted on so easily and quickly it made me wonder WTH I was doing wrong the first time. After feeling how comfortable my .50 Beowulf was following mounting the LimbSaver I would do it all over again even if it took days to get it on. It's worth it!!As I said, if you have a light recoiling caliber AR, you can get away with a much cheaper option (I use a Magpul Enhanced Rubber Buttpad on my .223/5.56 and 6.5 Grendel AR's) but if you shoot a large frame AR or one of the big bore AR15's this LimbSaver is a huge advantage and well worth the added expense.

I got it on pretty easily, but it's still a very nice and ...
I got it on pretty easily, but it's still a very nice and snug fit. My only complaint is the material with the "LimbSaver" logo is prone to attracting a lot of small debris. In my case, it's just lint and some dog hair. Also, for quick aiming it tends to rub up against my clothes slowing me down. For relaxed, steady shooting at the range it's perfect.

I Love These Things
I have tried most of the "stock cushions" on the market and this LimbSaver always fits perfectly and fits snug. It provides fantastic recoil felt mitigation in your shoulder. I put them on all my ARs that come with the hard ended stock. It's the perfect match of performance and price.

Makes shooting a .308 Win. feel more like 7.62x39!
Fits very nicely on a commercial spec, traditionally shaped AR-15/M4 buttstock. Its a very, Very noticeable difference in felt recoil after you install it. I have this on an AR-15 buttstock that is attached to my Zastava M77 PAP semi-auto .308 Win., and I'm extremely happy with the quality and recoil absorption the LimbSaver provides. The fit is very tight; had to use a small punch and a little liquid dish detergent to get in on, and it doesn't seem to have stretched at all either. The first thing I noticed about it is that it is tacky. Not in the fashion sense but that it almost feels sticky to the touch. Its not a bad thing in my opinion, but I don't know if I like it yet either. It may become less tacky over time, but its not a huge hindrance when shooting. Just something to be aware of. Its soft, just the right amount of "squishy" but also durable enough to where your not going to baby it. You know a product is good when the people that review the alternatives say that they wish they had just bought a LimbSaver instead.

Save your shoulder and just buy it
If your long gun can fit one of these on it, it should have one barring something nicer or fancier. This was a super tight/stable fit on my gun and its like it was always apart of the stock now. The cushioning is amazing. Buy one
