Q: Does this lock come with keys?

The easiest way to deal with zero-bitted keying is to buy here a Schlage re-key kit which comes with a few cut-alike keys, somewhat at random, and enough pins to pin six 5-pin cylinders from scratch. If you want to re-key again a few years down the line, take your existing key (say coded as 5-4-2-6-3) to a lock shop and they will punch you out a new key, using the same old existing pin depths but in new positions, maybe as 3-6-5-4-2, and you can re-key with all the existing pins. Further, just to give you a hint on how master keying works, use the first example and have your lock guy cut you two keys, a 5-4-2-6-3 (the master) and a 5-4-2-6-7 (the kids' key or the neighbor's key), and hand you six #4 master pins. Rule-of-thumb: always have the "master" key have the shallowest cuts on it. A lock pinned 5-4-2-6-3 will only be operable by that master key. A lock pinned 5-4-2-6-3 with a #4 master pin on top of the regular (pointy) #3 pin will be operable by either key. Think that through and you've got it!

Q: Does this lock come with any pins?

Hi,This lock is 0 bitted to a 5 pin Schlage C key blank. It does not come with extra pins to key up to your existing key. You will need a pinning kit for that.Thank you.

Q: Can the existing cylinder that comes with these be keyed to a 6 pin C Schlage key instead of the residential 5 pin?

Yes it can and it comes with the extra spring and cover
