Progressive Guitar Chords: For Beginner To Advanced Guitarists

A solid chord book with a section of music theory to boot. Shows simple, open chords and more advanced chords along with how they're built.The best thing about the diagrams is that they show both fingerings for the chord PLUS the scale degree for each string played (R, 3, 5, b7, etc.) on the diagram as well as the notes (C, F#, G, etc.) Great time saver. I also have a big chord encyclopedia but I prefer this book.

Awesome book shows more than simple chord charts. Chord formulas included in the book also show why a chord is built a certain way which then helps to understand how all these chords relate. A great book for starting off but also great for jumping off into more advanced stuff. I wish i had this 10 years ago.

This book was recommended by a very talented guitar player, I am a intermediate player that was losing interest but this book has resurrected my waning interest. It fills many of the gaps that my player/friend could not properly explain to me. It is written in such a way that I am beginning to understand the theory of the guitar, of course it still needs to sink in....

This is a very good book from beginners to advanced!

This book is great if you want to have EVERY chord available on paper, but I was looking for more of a book of tutorials on how to get started, a guide to strumming, maybe even a couple beginner songs to work on. Not what I wanted.

All you need to learn guitar chords. One of my favorite guitar learning books. Well written and easy to understand.
