I saw that there was a problem with toys that ended up sitting dormant on floors and in closets while kids had their eyes glued to the screen. The best part of my startup experience has been the challenge. Specifically, at Moff we have challenged ourselves to empower kids to use their imagination by recognizing their 3D motion using only a wrist band. We feel like we have done a pretty good job so far of enabling all types of kids to get up, move and even learn a little bit. And we have enjoyed every minute of it.

Excellent for unique situations
My son loves this! He got the pink one, there are some glitches, the train noise doesn't always make the horn sound. That frustrates him to no end, but he loves the new sounds he gets. He's on chemotherapy and we have to go to the hospital every week. The ipad is his escape at the hospital, but he is a social child. This is a nice balance so he can start to interact with the doctors and therapists when they come to see him. We are there all day, so he gets tired, but loves to show them the noises and talk about what they mean to him. It also helps with the neurology exam ;-) If you haven't pitched these to child-life at Children's hospitals, these would be a great tool for them.

Great color, great idea
Great color, great idea. Doesn't work at all! You can link to Bluetooth but that's as far as it goes. Doesn't make sounds or work in anyway like the bracelet is advertised. This was a cmplete waste of money.

This is about as useful as a Bluetooth enabled tamberine
The concept was interesting, but considering the cost of the product, I think it's capabilities are severely lacking. I was thinking it would be able to do motion tracking at least on the level of modern console remotes (considering this is the same price or more expensive), but as far as I can tell, it only has accelerometers. This is about as useful as a Bluetooth enabled tamberine.The app was well made and diverse.

SUPER COOL!
SUPER COOL!! I bought 2 Moff Bands for my niece and nephew, and they've been having a blast playing with them nonstop! They love the original Moff App features and the new PBS KIDS Party App! Who doesn't love a good game of freeze dance?! I definitely plan to buy a few more for holiday gifts.

So disappointed!
Do not buy !! Waste of money. Product was dirty and broken. The product box was smashed and open. Looks like someone has already used it or perhaps got smashed in the warehouse. Returned it today.

Pointless, stupid toy that does nothing
Connect it to the phone, and while it's within Bluetooth range of the phone, the phone makes noises. Seriously. That's it. I bought 3 of these for $9 each to give the kids for Easter, and I think I got ripped off. How this product made it through concept to production is beyond me. How it acquired a $50 price tag is beyond comprehension.
