Camera Module is as the spec says.USB Cable is terrible quality. I had tons of EMI issues. Mesh is not woven, No foil wrap, No grounding wire. Wire gauge is very small. The connector on the camera module is very loose. I ended up having to hot glue the connector on in order to keep it from falling out. Also needed to buy another proper USB cable and solder it on in order to keep the camera from glitching and eventually dropping until reboot due to EMI.No matter what I did I could not get the LED to work on Linux.Only reason I did not return it for something else is because this module is the only one in this form factor.

This camera worked very well with lightburn laser cutting software and was extremely easy to setup.

first on e I ordered came with the plug so mangled it was in two pieces, so I had another sent out and it was in a better condition but when plugged into usb it just kept trying to install over and over. this is an update the camera was not the problem this time I removed the powered usb dongle that I had received while waiting for the new camera was not compatible with that computer.

I hooked it up to my laser machine to use with Lightburn and it works great. It was smaller then I thought so I attached it to a popsicle stick using a wire twist and then glued the stick with hot glue to mount it to my laser hood. I have a wire attached to the handle of the hood and then to the round drive bar in the front of the laser bed. Works great to reestablish the proper distance.

Item works good, purchased this to work with Lightburn for my laser. The clarity isn’t as good as I hoped, but it does get the job done as needed.

I purchased it for use in my boss 1420 laser, the view angle is not wide enough to see the whole bed just a 8"x11" area of it if you plan on it being on the glass with the lid closed the way i hoped but with it mounted behind the lid handle, door open, and a lot of patience.. i was able to get it to calibrate finally.

It's rather odd, when you rattle this camera when it's active it loses connection, but if it is stationary when in use it works just fine. I use it as a camera overlay for my laser engraver and it works great.

I purchased this camera module to use with Lightburn software for my laser cutter/engraver. I 3D printed the holder for the camera and purchase a USB extension cable and attached it with heavy-duty double-sided tape. I then used Lightburn calibration software to align the camera and it works fine and saved me money.
