A Lector's Best Friend
Old Testament names and places can be pretty tricky at times. The last thing this lector wants is to get up in front of a crowd of people and mispronounce a name or place from the reading. After purchasing several different Bible pronunciation guides, the search is over. I finally found a keeper. This book is by far the most comprehensive pronunciation guide I've come across. Since I lector for both daily and Sunday Masses, I sometimes use it several times in a week. You'll love it, too.

Have confidence pronouncing Bible names & places
Very thorough! Very valuable especially if you are a preacher/teacher or record Bible readings. Highly recommend. I remember the old KJV Bible used to have pronunciation markings on all proper names in the text, but this seems to be a very rare thing these days. But this book not only has the KJV spellings of the Bible words, but also the spelling used in all the major modern translations of the Bible (e.g. NASB, NLT, NKJV, etc.)

Complete source to properly pronouncing ALL the names in the Bible
I read once a week at Mass. Before this book I would google for correct pronunciations. I even found a good online resource, but it wasn't complete. Then I saw this and knew I had to get it as it is a complete source to properly pronouncing ALL the names in the Bible. I bought the Kindle version and am glad I did as it is on my phone and I can access it even while I'm in church should I need to. God bless and thank you, Mr. Webb!

Nice, but over-priced for a paper-back book
Nice book to have but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, and the price seems high for a paper-back book with so few pages. I'd buy it again at the current price if it were hardcover.Edit: In addition to the above, I also just noticed that the ink printed text quality for the names and pronunciations is not consistent throughout the book.
