Impressive Performance in a Compact Design
This is quite an amazing speaker. For its small size, it is impressively powerful, delivering strong, loud, and bassy audio. I have made a video comparing this speaker to another Bluetooth speaker, and while the video may not capture the full experience, you can still tell there’s a clear difference. The Tribit offers a potent and booming sound, whereas the other speaker (Intempo EE1808) feels a lot weaker but has a slightly clearer sound. The Tribit is perfect for listening to music and can stand its ground compared to much more expensive speakers, which is remarkable given its relatively low price. As advertised, the strap allows you to securely attach the speaker to things like a bag strap, making it extremely convenient for outdoor use. The strap feels quite secure, and I wouldn’t expect it to loosen unless intentionally adjusted. The speaker also has a good battery life, which should last until you are home and can charge it again. Perhaps most importantly, there is no irritating voice narrating the power on, power off, or connected status of the speaker; instead, you hear a pleasant guitar strum and beeps. The only negative aspect of this speaker is that, due to the bassy sound, it’s not as clear as you might want for uses other than music, such as with consoles or computers. However, since this speaker is marketed for music and outdoor use, I would say the bassy sound is a positive feature and can hardly be called a fault. Just be aware of this before purchasing. I would definitely recommend this small speaker for its surprisingly powerful audio and the quality and convenience it brings.

great value for a small toy
Cliche first, I don’t usually write reviews... If you want it put simply, just buy one. At the discounted price I paid of £34.99 at launch it's a no brainer. (Tribit had sent me a code). This little speaker is so good for the money I bought another one to try the stereo feature, (more on that in a bit). It comes in a lovely posh box with a thankyou card, actual paper booklet and cable, all very nice quality. Get the speaker in your hand and you get the same feel of quality, smooth finish and nice build. Pairing was simple and quick, no annoying voices, just funky sounds. Time to play some music. The connection to our Mac and other Apply devices is very good and does not drop in places other speakers do. It goes plenty loud enough to hear around the house or garden. The sound is nice and smooth, even warm, but still has detail, not at all mushy. I would go as far as to say it sounds musical which is an achievement at the price. This means you can listen as long as you like and it still entertains. There is bass there and in a good way it does not take over artificially like some speakers, it just matches the overall sound. Oddly I got nice results using the strap and hanging it floating, rather than on a surface. Battery life seems as good as indicated, charging does take a while but not important to me. Ok, the stereo feature. You can either play two speakers in stereo mixed to mono or actual stereo which is very clever. I thought it sounded really good. Getting it to function was a bit fiddly for me though, bit hit and miss, when I switched them off they dumped connection to the Mac and I had to start again to get normal playback. Anyway not a problem for the more techno savvy I am sure. I have a very posh main Hi-Fi system and a few other higher end bluetooth speakers to compare this to and for me it is amazing at it’s price. Yes it has limitations but if you want a small high quality toy and real value for money, get one. Tribit customer service is first rate too if you have a problem as I did with a different item, no hassle and fast service. Five stars! Update Spring 2022...Both units still working great. Bought a JBL Tuner 2 for the radio function, which is very nice, but the Tribit Stormbox Micro side by side wins out for me, so warm and loud and tiny...easy to listen to.

Brilliant sound and features for such a small speaker!
A brilliant little speaker! I bought one and then bought another because if the amazing sound and now I can use them for full stereo (one acting a left and the other as right), or for party mode (not stereo, both speakers connected to the same music device and each speaker playing both left and right channels in separate locations, like different rooms). Or alternatively, you can obviously use them individually on separate devices. The sound quality is exceptional for such a small speaker and for this price! I cannot believe how amazing the bass sounds, it’s like I have speakers 10 times the size! They are completely portable and even have a rubber strap on the back that you can undo and wrap around your bicycle handlebar for example. They are IP67 waterproof and dustproof (see picture for a full explanation of this). If is a small quality, we’ll made, sturdy, waterproof, easy to use and fantastic sound quality at a budget price, speaker….This is the one for you, trust me, you won’t be disappointed! Amazon are brilliant with returns if you don’t like it for some reason, but I cannot believe anyone would find any fault in this speaker! It’s the best made, well packaged, best sounding, quality bluetooth speaker all at a budget price (compared to some other named brand speakers that I have seen and heard, the price to quality ratio just doesn’t conspire!). Get one now!

Nice little Bluetooth speaker
I bought this to listen to on my bicycle. It arrived today and I've tried it out on a short ride. The controls are simple and uncomplicated. It was very easy to link my iPhone via Bluetooth and the sound is quite good considering it's size. The speaker has what appears to be a silicone (or something similar) strap on the back. The strap is attached to the speaker on one sided and hooks onto a notch on the other. I tried fastening it around my handlebars, which wasn't a problem, but then opted to attach it to the front rack on my bike. It stayed attached during the ride, but because of the flat strap design, it jumped about a bit over bumpy ground. I will probably modify the attachment in some way if I can, to stop it jumping about. I expect that if it were attached around the handlebars it would be a little tighter and not move so much. All in all I like the speaker and would recommend it on my first Impression.

Impressive portable Bluetooth speaker with far bigger sound than it looks. First you notice is the mature, cohesive, natural and full sound. Lately we are getting used to heavy V-shaped tuned speakers with boosted mid-bass and even more boosted treble highs. Not with this little fellow. This is closer to studio monitor tunings, relatively speaking. In other words, the sound is closer to studio masterings than most of other heavily DSP tuned BT speakers. I’m not saying you can mix and master with this, far from that! It’s just an extravagant comparison for explaining sound characters and tunings. The mature natural sound tuning has offcourse downsides. This kind of tuning is more sensitive to room reflection acoustics. Is the StormBox Micro closer to a wall or corner, it will sound more boomier with a bigger chance of lacking trebles (remember, it has no boosted treble from the get-go). But than again, This speaker is so small you won’t have trouble to find the right spot in the room. Wrapping on a lamp stand or door handle are also nice possibilities with the silicon wrap-clip on the back. And you can easily EQ with your phone to your likings. Other potential downside -or godsend- is because the lack off boosted trebles, are perceived by many as boring, bland and lack of micro-details in music. I think this StormBox Micro has one of the most detailed micro-details sound in the very small speakers category. When I put low frequency sine-wave through the StormBox Micro: @ 100 Hz (this is the end of the lows for most small speakers. Not for StormBox Micro. Though, from here on there is clearly distortion from the mid/high speaker. The cross-over point to passive bass radiator/port is clearly noticeable. In most music not audible but in some cases like very distinctive isolated bass orientated music you are remembered it is a small speaker after all. @ 80 Hz (it’s clearly boosted from other bass-frequenties , this low is already amazing for a small speaker. This gives the StormBox Micro its name for amazing bass in the small portable category). @ 75 Hz (still clearly audible but from here steep drop-off, still amazing for a small speaker). @ 70 Hz (soft audible as a single sine-wave, in grand scheme in music not audible any more). @ 50 Hz (end of audible spectrum, we are not even talking about practical use from 70 Hz). If you like more real-life-alike sound in a portable small package, the StormBox Micro nails it! And you can EQ that to a poppy FM sound with your phone. If you like more “bubblegum glaring smoothy FM sound” from the get-go, then almost all other speakers are for you. But you cannot EQ them the other way around to a real-life-alike sound quality like the StormBox Micro. + Super portable and natural balanced sound quality is a rare combination. + Natural, acoustical, clean, full, mature sound for its size. Therefore enjoyable for all music genres. You only miss out the potential enjoyment in “sub-bass” focused music. + That deep bass and punch from this small thing! + Some of the natural open mature sound quality comes from less DSP compression and limiter use, unlike many other BT speakers. + Strong silicon Strap. + IPV-67 (Water and dust are no concern). + 9W output power from this small beast with 1 mid-treble speaker and 2 passive bass radiators in contra direction setup cancelling each vibrations out. Therefore the speaker won’t move on the surface. + Even its not a 360, it has some omni directional sound. + Button functions: Volume Up/Down/Play/Stop/Next/Previous track/ Phone call. + An better sounding “Bose Soundlink Micro” for half the price. - Battery life very depended of volume. Worst case with a lot bass heavy music and 80% volume and up, playback time goes from 8 hours to just 3-4 hours. That’s the trade off for the deep bass, it’s just the physical nature between lower frequency amplitude and energy. - Slow charging speed, about 3.5 hours is too long anno 2021. - Has no indoor or outdoor EQ presets function. Some competitors having these options. - Because of having deep bass, it can work against you indoors without EQ adjustments. - For listening podcast the deep bass can too much for some. Comparison with 2 other small BT speakers I have tested. Xiaomi 6W BT (2x3W + 1 passive bass radiator): + can hold its own against the StormBox Micro. The Xiaomi has a super surprising flat EQ from 100 Hz and up controlled by smart DSP. + Stereo, only when you are very close to the speaker. + Sounds amazing smooth and coherent at very low to mid-level volume. + Warm sound character. + 3.5mm line-in and SD-card slot. - Don’t bike, hike, swim, douche with this one! JBL Go: + If brand name is your priority above all and you like throw money, you’ll be served well. + You want to fill up your bin , this one is very throwable. (But don’t do that! Give this away as present to your friends or family, they will be very happy). - You're asking yourself why you didn't follow psychological marketing school. Now you're reading a nobody's review instead to be a millionaire and throwing even more money by buying JBL Go's!

Grazie What's Hifi.

I'm impressed with the sound quality from this given the size and the battery lasts way longer than advertised for me. The elastic strap on the back is actually super nifty and useful! It is super strong and the end easily and securely hooks into a slot at the base of the speaker. I strap it onto the handlebar stem of my bicycle and it stays in place perfectly, even when riding rough offroad terrain. It has survived some light rain and mud splash, but I've yet to test it in any heavy downpour. The USB-C is a huge plus in my book! The controls are easy to use, easy to see, and easy to operate even without looking, just based on feel/tactile feedback. It doesn't have any annoying/intrusive sound effects. Unlike some of my older bluetooth speakers this one handles being connected to multiple devices simultaneously without any issues. I've only tested the built-in microphone very briefly to make sure that it works, but I can't say much about the voice quality yet.

Producto excelente, lo único que le faltaba era una tapa de la caja, por lo demás se oye muy bien y enlaza perfectamente mediante Bluetooth. Potencia suficiente para llenar una habitación y precio ajustado.
