A hundred dollar ball for forty-five bucks. Great football!!
Very good football! Like all leather footballs, it takes some time and effort to break-in. Once broken in, the feel, texture and grip of this football is just about perfect. Quality leather and construction. I own several footballs, including Wilson's Duke and GST 1003, and the tf-gold is my favorite. This Spalding is every bit as good as the Wilsons, at half the price... most likely because the Spalding is Made in China (vs made in USA for Wilson). Still an amazing football at a great price.

Ball will not hold pressure.
Took the ball out and pumped it up. It keeps deflating about 5 minutes into use. The first time I pumped it up I assumed it was due to the cold weather but that’s not the case. I had to pump it up 4 times within a half hours time yesterday and I eventually got tired of it and threw it back into the ball bag.

Faulty bladder; will not hold air
DO NOT PURCHASE!! The ball will not hold air; faulty bladder inside will not hold air. I ordered one and it came deflated and NOT in an original Spalding box. The ball would not air up, so I exchanged the item. Second ball was shipped in the same manner, and also would not air up due to faulty bladder.

Appears to be a decent football. My son and I threw it for about 30 minutes, color faded onto both of our hands. It was a little damp outside after a rain, the ends of the football seem to be flaking. I'll update in a week or so. For 43 dollars, it better hold up. No lol.

Great sturdy football
Great sturdy football. Good tacky grip with pebbling. Best price for an actual leather "leather" football. This one is cowhide, not pigskin, but not that plastic NCAA leatherette crap.

Excellent quality leather football
Bought this as a gift for our son for his senior night football game. This football is top quality leather and is rated the number two selling football this year. Excellent quality ,not sure of durability but it has held air and has a nice feel to it. Hope it is a keep sake that will last him many years .

Spalding Footballs are Garbage
My son is a nationally ranked high school kicker & punter. We have had Spalding footballs in the past that have lasted the typical 2 years. Recently, March 2019, I bought him some replacement footballs to include a Spalding leather ball. It lasted a couple months until May when it would not hold air any longer. I sent it back for a replacement thinking it may have just been this one ball. But the replacement ball which arrived in June is already dead and won't hold air a month and half later now in July. Of course its just now past the return time frame. Unacceptable.

50/50 so far
I purchased two of these balls. So far one doesn't hold air, and the other does (so far.) Seems like decent quality leather, too bad they went cheap on the stems. I have Prime, so returning one, keeping the other (unless it goes flat in the next couple days as well.)
