Black chaps
This was my first time ordering chaps. I did have to return them but I should have read the measurements better. I ordered a large for my daughter and they had plenty of room in the waist but not the thigh. For reference she is 5’4” around 145lbs, thinner waist and thicker rear and thigh. I’ve since learned that many women need to have chaps custom made, especially if you’re a curvy body type. She only tried them on so I can’t speak to quality or durability but they appeared well made and of good quality. I wish they fit. These were the best deal I found.

To big.
Great metering just to big. Size chart was wrong.

Size up
These run very small. The size chart can be found online, but err on the side of caution and get the larger size, if you're in between. I measured the top of my thigh at 25" and ordered a large (was sent a size medium, had to return and order a large elsewhere) and even though the size chart said 25"-27" it's very snug, especially through the lower thigh & calf. I have bigger legs (thanks squats), so I probably could have gotten the xl.

Seams unraveling
The leather quality is excellent, and I love the brown color and the solid yet lightweight material. However, the threads on the left leg zipper seam are already coming undone. The zippers and buckle themselves are cheap, had I seen this in store I would not have purchased. I want to like these but will be looking for chaps where the seams arent coming loose right out of the package.

we are very pleased with the quality
we are very pleased with the quality, my daughter is 15, thought i should spend more for the better ones, but just bought these at the last minute, and thought I would replace later. We were so pleased with them, she wore them all season, will wear them again next season and until they wear out. The fringes aren't as long as the more expensive ones, but up on the horse I can honestly say, my daughter looked as good, if not better, as all the rest! They fit her perfectly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND
