This book is the second I own that Toni Silvestri wrote and Anne Horjus illustrated. It is the kind of book you want to keep with you forever. I look forward to reading it to my granddaughter--right now she'll like the pictures but when she's older I hope she reads the book herself and appreciates its beauty. The end of the book includes some biographical information about daVinci and also some projects for budding artists. The whole thing is a wonderful read!

I waited quite some time for this book to finally be published and the result exceeded my expectations. Anne Horjus' illustrations combine whimsy and art in a manner that defies description. But this book also blends a well researched insight into Leonardo da Vinci himself with a study of artist inspirations and a taste of history.The book itself is a thing of beauty and inspiration. Kudos to Anne and Tony...and of course a bow to Leonardo himself.

Since I am personally acquainted with the artist, I had lots of pent up anticipation, and when I finally got the book in my hands it did not disappoint! Torn between leaving it out on the coffee table for others to see, and squirreling it away in order to maintain it in pristine condition--if you find a copy to own--don't hesitate!

I cherish this exquisitely illustrated treasure! Anne Horjus is an amazing artist who beautifully created art to accompany the inspiring words of Charles Anthony Silvestri. I'm also thankful to be able to listen to the music through Amazon Prime Music. Please look at the gloriously colorful illustrations showing Leonardo da Vinci's genius and imagination.

This is the second book I have purchased from Anne and Silverstri. Incredible artwork. You can look at it again and again and see more each time! Anne's work is so intricate and expressive! What a gift he has to share. Purchase for a child or an adult !

Both children and adults will enjoy the enchanting illustrations and wonderful poem. The book also contains detailed biographical information about Da Vinci, explanations of the techniques that he used, and activities to try at home. This book is a beautiful addition to any home library.

Absolutely gorgeous, meticulously drawn visions of Master Leonardo's work, masterful storytelling in words to equal the visual, from the beautiful music that soars through the sky. This book is exquisite in every sense.

Absolutely love this second collaboration between Anne Horjus and Mr. Silvestri. Mr.Horjus's artwork is beyond amazing and the writing incredible. Highly recommend for children and adults alike.
