Conditions and grooms the beard beautifully.
Last year for reasons unknown to me my husband decided to see how long he could get his beard to grow ... although come to think of it, I may have mentioned that Ragnar Lothbrok from the series "The Vikings" is rather handsome and this may have something to do with it. Anyhow as my husband is in his sixties the Viking look has not actually materialised ... it's more like a scruffy and bushy steel grey and white "Grizzly Adams" look.I ordered this beard brush with the vague hope of my husband being able to tame it a little. This brush is a real work of art, it is made from pear wood and has a long handle enabling a good grip of the brush in use. The bristles are made from boar hair which has been strongly inserted into the pear wood.My husband is absolutely thrilled with this beard brush and uses it throughout the day to keep his beard well groomed and in good condition. Since he has been using this brush his beard has looked so much better ... could he now take the part of a Viking? Not at all, but at least he no longer looks like an elderly grizzly Adams.

Works really well on my frazzled old beard
Love this brush - it gets through my beard (set to 9mm on the trimmer) and tidies it up. The bristles are deliberately uneven and coarse, which invigorates the skin. A very manly feel, I must admit.At £30 it's a tad expensive, but on the other hand, it should last forever and become a treasured part of your grooming kit. Nicely and simply presented in a black cardboard sleeve, makes a good present for yourself or a loved one.

Good quality brush both in relation to the bristles and handle. Bit pricey
This looks good and performs well. It has good quality bristles and a good quality handle. Although I don't think it's quite as robust as it could be the structure is quite thin compared to similar products I've seen, I'd like it to have a bit more weight to the handle and body of the brush.Nevertheless, it looks and feels like it's of sufficient strength and sturdiness for the purpose it has been buiit for and properly cared for it should last a long time. On that basis you might well be prepared to pay £30 or so for it. I still think it's a bit pricey.Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of the build, the design and the materials used.
