I bought a bigger wooden board for my elderly Mother for Mother’s Day.The board was big and she thought it was bulky. She was also afraid that it was going to scratch her table.I ended up keeping that board for myself and kept looking for one for her.I found this one.This mat suits her much better.It’s very light. So it’s easy to move and store. It’s firm enough to pick it up and move it with the puzzle put together.It also comes with a nice cover to put over it.If you have a cat. This would be a nice feature for you. Because we all know they like to bat stuff around and knock it off the table.We normally do a 300 piece puzzle. We like the puzzles with larger pieces. The puzzle we first did was24X18. We had plenty of room left.We normally do puzzles on the kitchen table.So the ease of moving this is a plus.If you are looking for a sturdy, lightweight mat, that’s easy to store away. I would highly recommend this one.

I need a cover for my puzzle to protect it from my cats and this works great. I have another puzzle table, but this one is lightweight and can be moved around easily

Good quality puzzle mat that is sturdy but notstiff. It's slightly bendable which is good for me as I slightly bend it to fit it under my couch when I am not working on the puzzle. I like the felt like non slip surface so the pieces stay put and don't slide off. The dust cover is great too as it secures in the corners to protect the puzzle. This cover was exactly what was needed when I had the puzzle stored under my couch and I ran my Roomba. I had totally forgotten it was there and ran my roomba and left the house, and when I realized it was there I cringed as I thought about what I would find when I got home. The plastic dust cover was thick enough and was secure enough that the vacuum just ran right over it without damazing it at all. The only thing I didn't like about it was that I thought it would be a bit bigger. It fits a 500 piece puzzle with ease but I don't know if it will work well for a 1000 piece puzzle.

I can easily move my puzzles from one place to another. It's too small for puzzles over 1000 pieces.

I was a little worried about what I was going to get. But there was no need! This board is well made, the perfect size (1000 piece puzzles), easy to use and move. The dust protector has corner flaps that secure to the board and keeps puzzle pieces secure while moving.The felt padded topside is soft, if not a little too "puffy" which can make some puzzles that don't click together well a little difficult to keep them together, but this is a puzzle issue, not the board issue. Lightweight and well made. This is a great tool for puzzle enthusiasts who may want to put away their projects for a short time, or keep the cats from getting into things.

So far so good! Day 1 and I was working in one corner and remembered with delight that I could simply spin it around. Stoked for an (apparently) cat-resistant solution!

The size is good and I like how the plastic cover has corner slots so it stays on but the product is not solid so just keep that in mind. it will serve its purpose for now.
