Catching up on Wilmington, NC history while we are "locked down"
We moved to Wilmington, NC from another state about 1 1/2 years ago. I felt that the 'lockdown' was the perfect time to learn more about the history of NC.--I am much more of a Non-Fiction reader so the 3 stories that I felt were true were the most interesting to me. Those included the story about the arrival of the U.S. North Carolina to our area...the death of Brandon Lee (son of Bruce Lee) who died such a senseless death while making a local movie...and legends about the impact on railroads on our coastal area.--I certainly felt the book was worth the price simply because the author loves Wilmington and it shows.

A thrilling adventure of a lifetime
It’s truly amazing to read historic adventures that took place way back in time, generations a long time ago. This entire book has been a enjoyable adventure. I would recommend this book and the author to many of who I know, who has the passion of reading history novels and stories of times you would have never known about nor have interest in hearing or reading about!
