Fits the deep pocket mattress

When I read the reviews I was expecting something more fluffy. I had previously owned one and purchased this as a replacement. When I received, washed and put it on my bed the difference of with or without was almost the same, But I guess you get what you paid for. The previous cost for what I owned was over $100.00. Looking for a replacement.

This is the second mattress pad that I've purchased this year. The first one was by Bedsure (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CNEZKQY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It was used during cool/cold weather, so I didn't notice how much the pad contributed to the warmth of the bed. In fact, during that season, it was quite nice as I am someone who sleeps cold and needs the likes of flannel sheets and down comforters. Then the first heat wave of the year came, and oh boy, it was very difficult to sleep. I decided to purchase this pad in hopes that the "cooling" feature will work. I would not say that the pad "cools" you off. It definitely doesn't get as warm as the one by Bedsure. We've had a few warm nights since I started using it, and it's much more comfortable. Other than that, the pad is soft. The pockets are nice and deep that it will fit a deep mattress. So, I think my strategy is to use this one during the warmer months, and switch back to Bedsure when it's cold enough for flannel sheets. Ah, first world problems...

I love the softness and I couldn't even feel the grooves like you can on other pads.

I have a king size water bed. I usually buy California King size sheets. The last mattress pad I bought did not cover the whole bed and was not that comfortable. BUT when I got this one it covered the whole bed, and enough it stays on. It is so comfortable. I'm thinking about buying another one.
