ShadowlineFlare Half Slip (47716), 30"

As expected, this is a very nice garment.

Shadowline is more expensive than the cheap foreign imports, but reliable and should be considered a long term investment. The quality, excellent stitching and finishing (no hanging threads everywhere?) plus the full accurate fit in whatever size you purchased. I personally recommend this half slip and overall recommend Shadowline as an excellent brand.

Exactly as described, very sheer, light weight. Wore under a dress to a wedding as I did not know if without a slip if my underwear would show though and did not want to take that chance, plus it was common to wear under dresses in the 50's and 60's and 70's to dances and such. I have never been without a slip until the last 20 some odd years as I never went to places where I needed to wear a dress until the recent wedding, but it was comfortable wearing and if I had to purchase another one? I would. Well worth the money spent

Product was as expected.

The slip is fine much of the time. It fits as expected and is the right length. However, if I am wearing a backpack or something else that rests against my hip, the slip ends up getting pulled up and bunched up around my waist as I walk. It must be the material. So as I'm walking, I'm continually trying to pull it back down. It's the only slip that does this, so I'm just getting rid of it and going back to another brand.

The slip was smaller than anticipated in width. Length was fine. I plan to use this infrequently, so for my purposes, it will work out just fine.

The most comfortable slip I've ever tried no complaints! Fit as expected.

If you're looking for a slip you'll look sexy in parading around the house, this isn't it, but I didn't need a fancy slip with a ton of lace, I just wanted a slip that was comfortable and performed it's purpose of not allowing people to see through my skirts. This one does what a slip should do. It's fairly full so it wouldn't work for a pencil skirt since you'll see the the imprints of the slip wrinkling beneath it. It's for an a-line skirt or circle skirt. I originally purchased it to wear benath some chiffon skirts I had. They came with a lining but the lining stopped at the knee and the skirt continued to the floor and it looked funny. So I needed a long slip but discovered they are getting hard to find. I'm short, 4'11 and ordered the 30" length, it comes down to below mid-calf so it's perfect. It prevents the chiffon from blowing between my legs, and prevents people seeing through them. The slip is smooth and silky and I've worn it with chiffon, rayon and cotton skirts and none of them cling to it. So I'm very satisfied with the slip.

I very much liked this slip.....was a heavier material than most slips.
