Priddy Learning: My First 1000 Words: A first words book for toddlers and preschoolers - filled with early learning fun!

Brilliant, my 2 year old loves it, learning a lot of new words, and keeps him focused for a really good long while

I don't often write product reviews but I just had to for this book. My little boy is 17 months and although this book says age 3-5 I feel like it's beneficial a lot younger than that. We've had the book around a week now and my little one has looked at it every single day. He can sit for up to 20 minutes just flicking through the pages and pointing out the words he knows. My husband also said that every time he looks at it with our son that he knows more and more words every day! Because there are so many different pages and themes it seems impossible for them to get bored as there is just SO much to look at. I also love that the book is majority photos of real objects as it makes it so much easier for them to go on and recognise the objects in real life. Definitely recommend this book for any curious toddlers out there!

Amazing book that was used to teach words and is not still used to help with learning how to read and write

We got this as an upgrade to a ‘100 words’ book. The pictures are fine and there’s obviously a lot of them, what with being a 1000 word book. The colours section is a bit confusing though, and not laid out very well and missing some core colours. Overall, okay though.

Excellent book much loved by my Grandson and greatly increased his vocabulary it;s also robust enough to withstand his younger siblings rough handling

We got this for my daughter before she turned two and it is her favourite book. It has real life pictures it has words as well as sentences, she only want to read this. She points to words herself and repeats and we read together also. I’m looking for another book the exact same because we read this so many times, I’m yet to find anything just as good. Brilliant book

Another fantastic, visual book from Roger Priddy. I’ve bought so many of his books over the last few years and my son has really enjoyed them all. The pages are thinner than a standard board book, but as it’s aimed for 3+ I think its more than justified. Its not been given to my son yet but I’ve had a look. The pages are, dare I say, a little eye-boggling as there are lots and lots of pictures crammed in, but with a 1000 of them, hardly a surprise! Fantastic quality and the price was spot on!

What an excellent book for toddlers . It’s a great book to teach kids different words . I have been looking for a good book which includes a lot of things sectioned . My son refuses to let go of the book. Though it’s a board book. The pages still are a bit soft and get easily folded . But otherwise the book is great for learning

The book includes what should be knows as basics with colorful pics and cluster of things.

I have a toddler of 18 months and we read this book almost every day. Sure enough content of several pages are a bit too abstract for that age (it does recommend 3+), colors section, in my opinion, unnecessarily stretches on 4 pages, and it is not a boardbook, so we only ever read it together as she would crumple the pages before too long. But that aside, amazing book.
