Second time ordered, to replace some switches on a power strip and the work great, nice smooth and sturdy finish

These switches fit a Duraflame DFS-500 and have the correct Amp/Voltage to replace the factory part (which is labeled SC792-6). The side clips look larger than the piece coming out of the electric fireplace, but they fit fine. Switch is easy to swap out; the difficult part is opening up the box to get to the switch and then putting it together again.Thrilled to find this as I use the electric fireplace daily through winter, and there was nothing wrong with the unit other than the switch going bad. Cheaper and less wasteful to just replace the switch! Wish I could have purchased one instead of five, but will just keep the others in case the second switch goes bad.Update: replacement switch went bad after another year. Keep those extras!

I purchased these rocker switches to replace some old and worn out switches on some power conditioners used for pro audio. Although they worked and did the job I was a little less than pleased with the product because the quality was not as good as the original switches that I was replacing. These are very light weight in comparison and were not sized exactly the same. The mounting was a little looser which over time will likely cause these to fail with constant use. Another complaint is that these switches do not come with any kind of diagram to show how they are wired. I had to use a trial and error approach using a multi meter to figure out how to orient and wire the switch. I finally got it to work but would be nice to see some markings or at least some diagram on the wiring scheme. These are adequate and allowed me to maintenance my power conditioners and return them to service but time will tell how long they will last.

My rocker switch on my oil filled space heater burnt out. This switch replaced it. It was a little smaller than the original rocker switch but it fit in the cut out perfectly. Works great so far after a week.

THIS IS A TWO POSITION SWITCH WITH A LIGHTED ROCKER, AND UNABLE TO USE IN A INSTANCE WITH TWO GROUND CONNECTION AND POWER CONNECTION, BUT SWITCH DOES WORK GOOD

Product may be very fine. Installed easily. Time will tell how it stands up to use. Quite inexpensive so im a little suspect of its durability.Shipper was very fast and the product description was accurate.

I bought this for an electric fireplace. At first, it did not function when I installed the switch but it was my fault. I had installed the switch upside down thus not wiring it properly. When I turned the swicth around and rewired it, the fireplace worked perfectly. Very easy to install. Came as in picture.

Bought these to replace a broken switch on my fireplace insert. So far the new switch works perfectly and saved us $$$.

Since maplin disappeared it has become increasingly hard to find components on the high street.Our tea urn was knocked accidentally, and the power button was damaged. These saved my bacon. So simple but so difficult to find.

Seem to work OK for now. Will see for how long it keep working with a continious 1300W load before complete evaluation.
