Four seasons accumulator
The Four Seasons brand had softer & more flexable rubber hose than, UAC brand I bought 6 months ago which failed. I think Four seasons is the better, priced great & arrive on time, packaged well.

Escape Owners - Pick The Correct One?
Amazon and almost every other seller specs this and/or #83144 for a 2005 Ford Escape. That may or may not be true for yours. Seems Ford changed these units in that year. So there are (2) Four Seasons part numbers.#83042 has a 5/8" outlet (the 3 ring tube you push into the top hole). And #83144 which has a 3/4" outlet. Measure yours before ordering.

Necessary part for servicing AC
Drier should be replaced every time your AC system is opened (components replaced) or when you find that you have no cooling and need to charge it. You should really pull the vacuum first before wasting any money on freon to make sure charge will hold and not leak out. If you don't, and just add freon, you will end up with 50-50% freon-air mix, at best, and it's freon-humid air mix in many places in US. And moisture will damage your compressor in no time.Price was great and competitive against all other sources I checked.

Don't trust auto parts system match.
Ítem didn't fit my vehicle. I thought I used the specifics, 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid.Unfortunately time to return ended and we didn't realized the problem until we already removed the old part and ended putting it back.

DOESN'T FIT 2007 FORD ESCAPE with V6 Engine!
THIS PART DOES NOT FIT 2007 FORD ESCAPE! My A/C system was in pieces when we discovered this so I had to spend buy one locally and it cost me $20 more!The correct Four Seasons part number for 2007 Ford Escape with V6 Engine is 83144.
