Good looking knife, not a Kissing Crane
The knife I received was not Kissing Cranes. It was a Robert Klaas, no mark for Kissing Cranes anywhere. It was a present for my husband who actually loved the knife anyway. But, he loves all knives. I am going to do some research to see if maybe they are made by the same company. The knife seems to be well made and very handsome. So, I don't really know if I got a good deal or not. But for the price he is adding it to his collection and did not seem to mind that it wasn't what I ordered. Delivered as stated, and seems very sturdy. Gave it only 3 stars because not as advertised.

Manage Your Expectations, It's a $15 Knife
What I recieved is not a Kissing Crane knife. There is no reference to Kissing Crane on the the shield, packaging, or literature. It generally looks like the photo, otherwise. The scales might be horn, but most of the surface material is gone, so it's hard to tell. There are also gaps betweent the scales and bolsters and the rest of the fit and finish are marginal. To put it in perspective, it's about what I would expect of a fifteen buck knife, but the quality does not meet the Kissing Crane reputation.

... bought this accidently some how haha but it's still pretty cool to have around
I bought this accidently some how haha but it's still pretty cool to have around, sharp too. But my uncle kinda ruined it bc he borrowed it when we were at a party bc he was cutting up lime for some tequilla.... But kinda my fault too for not cleaning it after. But still good and sharp!

Since I collect LARGE Texas toothpicks & the Kissing Crane was advertised as such this knife doesn't do me much good. The knife
The knife I ordered was the Kissing Crane LARGE toothpick what I got was a Robert Klaas small toothpick. Since I collect LARGE Texas toothpicks & the Kissing Crane was advertised as such this knife doesn't do me much good. The knife is ok I guess (?? so I gave it three stars). I won't go through the hassle of returning it but I probably won't buy any more pocket knives from Amazon, I'll stick w/ knife dealers instead.

Kissing Cranes are a good buy!
Although these are made in China, their quality is excellent (comparable to a Case or Kabar pocket knife). The Ram horn seems authentic and the steel takes a fine edge. A great buy for the buck!I bought five different models since they are so attractive and functional.

it's a good knife but I will think twice before ordering on ...
I ordered a "Kissing Crane" knife but what I got was a "Klaas" knife. I ordered the kissing crane because of the brand.Amazon should know something about branding. I keep the Klaas,it's a good knife but I will think twice before ordering on line again.
