Negative stars if possible as item arrived differently than pictures shown. The black harness was suppose to have been a shimmery jet black with blue leash handle and elastic, all pieces on harness are metal and the clamp is black. What I received is a brown plastic material rather than the durable metal, the clamp is also made out of the same cheap plastic material that’s brown. The leash is completely black with no blue. Returning item. Don’t waste your time unless you’re just satisfied with the price, which is basically overcharged considering the material used.

I purchased this for my pup that we just rescued and when it arrived I was very pleased with the quality of the leash, however the harness, was not as thick as I would have thought or hoped that it would be. As I tried to adjust the girth for my pup's chest, the material started fraying quite profusely and while I was able to use it, before even putting it on my dog, it no longer looked at all new, and had strings dangling down everywhere. I'm going to end up having to purchase another one due to the worry/concern that this one won't hold up to much tugging and pulling from my dog. Great Leash, not so great harness.

It’s kinda thin material and not as sturdy feeling as other harnesses. I found a much thicker better quality harness from another amazon seller for a couple of extra dollars. It’ll last for years. I don’t think this one is going to last a very long time at all. Like the metal rings.Def runs small. Order the next size up. My 18 lb furry takes a medium in collars and harnesses.I didn’t see the size up info. It’s too small. My other 10 lb furry wears a small and it adjusted to fit him.

Very nice leashes. Second of this “type” of leash, but this one is more comfortable for my dog.Buckles are placed where they do not cause discomfort. Leash is sturdy and stays on well.I sewed a little arrow into my leash, so I can always tell which way is “up” when putting it on my dog, and would go so far as to say it makes this leash the ‘perfect’ leash.Sturdy hand hold, sturdy on dog, and comfortable “no choke” leash. Great leash, I highly recommend

So far this harness and leash have been great. I usually opt for black leashes, but this time opted for a bit of color and got the blue one. My chihuahua is a little escape artist and I wanted to make sure that if he were to escape the yard, he’d be wearing something easily distinguishable.The material is great and the small is a perfect size for him. He is a skinny little thing, so I did have to adjust the tightness of the harness all the way. The leash is also the perfect length.

I thought this was going to last longer than 2 days. My medium lab mix broke the links that you clip the leash to. The buckle is made of plastic which was my first concern, but I still have it a try. Unfortunately, this harness is only good for small dogs with no muscles. The harness is still intacked however it is useless without the rings to clip the leash to. I am a little disappointed but not surprised. The harness looked cheap but it was cheap so you get what you pay for. It should have lasted long than 3 hours of use. Gave it 2 stars for the leash which is still useable and because this would be a fine harness for smaller dogs

I love the harness! It seems like my puppy will be able to grow into this for at least a little while. I loved the price because I know this won’t be our first and only harness and the package deal of getting a leash too was great! My only complaint is that the leash is way too short... 47” is not much length AT ALL.

I thought the leash was cheaply made. I got this set to use in the house while training my rescue dog and the rubber parts that bind the rope leash together are coming apart after just 2 weeks. It doesn't feel sturdy or secure in your hand if your dog pulls even slightly. The harness part is ok, but again, not very secure if your dog pulls. I think this set would be ok if your dog is super calm and a good walker. I wouldn't recommend it if you're still working on basic leash walking skills. It's not a good design for control.
