I didn't understand what this was when I bought it & it's amazing! There's an outer double walled aluminum container with lid. The inner double walled container has gel in it along with it's lid. You store the inner container in the freezer until use. Put your pint container of ice cream in & enjoy - it stays hard the whole time. The little "spoons" attached to the inner lid work great. I'd recommend or purchase this for anyone who owes ice cream by the pint.

I got this last year and used it once, then I went to use it again this year, and put the interior lid on (granted no ice ceam inside YET) and put it in my car so I can take a pint of ice cream to my BFF, well when I get to my car outside the store- the lid wouldn't come off! So I asked my BFF's hubby to try and he couldn't do it either... he even took a vice grip to it to see if that would budge it... but nope. So I ran it under hot water and left it in the sink hoping that would help it so only time will tell. But it's over a year since my return window ended so now it's so far a $40 item just sitting in the pantry (well currently in the sink) like a rock... :( Has anyone figured out how to get the lid off if they had it stuck??

Fits a pint of ice cream, so I don't think you're going to feed a group of people on the beach with this...but, it does keep ice cream cold fire hours. First time trying it out: Went to the beach, forgot the pale of ice cream in the car! When we got back to the car, it was still cold, kind of soft, but still a cold refreshing treat. Definitely a smart buy, if you remember to take it with you!

I have done 2 test on this product.1. Will my soup still stay hot after 6 hours?Results: Nope! my soup only stay warm near to cold, not hot at all. Because I can’t microwave this container, so I force to drink warm to cold soup instead of hot. 2. Will my home made ice cream still keep in scope shape after 2 hours?Results: Nope! After 2 hours, I have checked my ice cream, it’s cold but totally melted like water. Even though I have freeze the inner plastic pot for overnight. It’s doesn’t keep the ball shape of ice cream, but just runny creamer…. :(I won’t recommend this product as ice cream keeper if you plan to bring your ice cream travel more than 1 hour ( some reviews said ice cream still kept cold after 1 hour) for me, I usually needs to travel more than 1 hour, so I am looking for ice cream keeper to keep my ice cream at least 4 hours without melting.. not only cold ice cream.

The ability to have cold ice cream on a hot hike tempted me into purchasing two of these; one as a gift, one for myself. Both have been used and in both instances we forgot to bring the ice cream on the hike! Left in the hot car on both occasions, I’m happy to say after 7 hours in a hot car, the ice cream was still cold, eatable and tasty.

I really like this Product. It really keeps my ice cream cold until we are ready for it up to one hour before we eat it. I Love it. It's great for outdoor picnics and Birthday parties.👍❤🍦🍨🎂

I was so excited to get this thermos for when I go down to the pool, I FaceTimed my boyfriend to show him how it works and I put the inner lid on and now it’s stuck and my white chocolate magnum ice cream is in there 😭😭😭 I thought maybe I was just weak and couldn’t turn it hard enough, but when he came over he couldn’t free my ice cream either. I’m so sad I cried this is probably the worst thing that’s ever happened to me. My ice cream is still being held hostage as we speak.

works as intended, but my lid had a long crack upon arrival. It did not affect the use of the product but it doesn't look pretty.

My mistake I didn't read the liters , too small for what I needed it for, was hoping 2.5 liters
