Very thin paper. Hard to work with.

I am a beginner in Chinese calligraphy and/or painting, so this was my first time purchasing this type of paper. Have had no issues with it so far...it's thin, yet doesn't make the ink spread, buckle the paper, or soak through. Overall very satisfied.

This paper is designed to be used as part of a traditional Chinese or Japanese writing or painting “system.” It assumes you have the right brushes, the right ink, and a felt pad to go underneath. Called sumi-e in Japanese. The PI paper is stronger than most of the practice papers you can find and is more forgiving of excess water in the brush. There are several different kinds of paper used for sumo-e or brush painting and this is one of them. Just be sure you know what you are getting.

excellent rice paper for printing on. good price

These are quite long pieces of rice paper for calligraphy but I just cut them in half for painting

I came to leave a review after I used all the papers, it is a perfect paper, thick and touch is good. I like to write on it, have to buy more for my calligraphy interest.
