The most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden on!
I had a problem on my hybrid and road bike of constant pressure on my sitz bones after about 12 miles. I tried other saddles from the bike manufacturer and ran into the same problem. After going to a very outstanding bike shop near by and having a bike fitting done, this was the saddle with the most comfort and now I have to make myself head back to the house while out riding due to how comfortable it is. I would highly recommend this saddle to everyone having the same problem that I was.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
This is the 3rd one of these that I have purchased. First for my bike, then for my new bike, then for my wife's bike. Excellent comfort. Just make sure that you pay attention and make SMALL adjustments to it. Pay attention to the markings on the rails. try sliding backwards by 3-5mm, then ride it for a while. I had to take it off recently for a long drive to an out of town race. Put it back on once at my destination and missed the location by about 5mm... forgot my allen wrench during the ride, so had to make due... Play with the alignment... your rear will thank you! Oh yeah, if it begins to "creak"... take the seat off the bike, drop a couple of drops of 3N1 or Mystery Oil in the holes where the seat rails enter the seat frame... no more creaks/pops. Have almost 1000mi on the saddle on the new bike and it still looks brand new.

FINALLY!!! The right saddle.
I'm a big guy, 44yo, 5'10" and 230lbs. But I also ride my hybrid 28miles round trip to work five days a week. I needed a saddle that was comfortable to soak up the road and didn't compress the nether regions. Every saddle I have tried was either too narrow at the tail for my bum, didn't provide enough clearance to avoid compression or was too hard for longer rides. The Serfas RX is very comfortable with a great mix of padding and gel and most importantly the split design makes sure that nothing gets squished. If you're a road warrior with carbon everything this is not the saddle for you. It's too wide and too heavy. But if you're a modestly athletic middle age guy looking to stay in the saddle for a few more decades than you probably can't go wrong with this one. Some quick additional notes:- This saddle is about the split design, not performance, weight or even comfort (although I think it's quite good at soaking up the road).- It's not a terribly attractive saddle, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and I'll take a weird looking saddle over numbness.- I don't park my bike outdoors at either work or at home. Protection from the elements may have helped to keep the saddle in good shape.- Some people have asked me if the split design ever pinches. The answer is no.UPDATED 7/8/2013I have 1.5 years of 5 day a week, all weather riding on this saddle and I have to say that it's far and away the best saddle I've owned. Since the original post my commute has increased to 35 round-trip miles daily and it's just as comfortable. First off, the build quality is impressive. Despite an approximate 13,000 miles of usage the only signs of wear are some fading of the black lycra fabric covering and the silk screened art has peeled a bit. There are zero popped stitches, fabric tears or signs of structural fatigue. I do think that the gel/padding are getting a bit tired but I only really notice that on bumpier sections of pavement. I have two other bikes with different saddles, one is a road bike and it has the stock saddle with only a shallow channel and the other is my weekend beater and it has an after-market super squishy granny seat. This Serfas RX is far and away my favorite. The only reason I haven't switched out the other two saddles is pure laziness on my part.UPDATED 8/22/2016Still love this saddle enough that I finally bought a new one! Considering the abuse I put on my kit, I consider 5 years and ~30k miles a really good run. About 18mos ago I noticed that it lost some shock absorption. Not too extreme but on bigger jostles it felt like I was, pardon the pun, bottoming out. I didn't replace it right away, waited until last March, in hindsight I don't think I will wait next time.Still riding 5 days a week, although the last few winters took me off the road. I wasn't particularly cold, got good gear to keep me comfortable (I should probably write some reviews for those products as well!). However, my brake cables have frozen a few times. That's a bit scary. Anyway, 9 months a year I'm out there pedaling away!Other minor things... Most of the silk screen peeled away and there was definitely considerable fading of color. Interestingly, there weren't any popped stitches or rips in the lycra. Most importantly, so far the new saddle seems to be as well constructed as the original!Honestly, of all my bicycle accessory related purchases, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Good on Rough terrain
I ride my hybrid bike on lousy roads a lot. (I live in Wyoming... hey, it’s what we get here.) I got this saddle because my bike came with one that made my ischium bones hurt (you know, your “sit bones”), and wasn’t kind to my reproductive organs either (you know, your... yeah.) Great padding for the bones, and a deep channel so the other stuff down there doesn’t get jolted. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive saddle, but I’ve ridden a few hundred miles over washboards and this is the real deal. Highly recommended.Incidentally, one reviewer suggested getting your bike shop to adjust your tilt if your having discomfort on the seat, and that is terrific advice. Everyone knows when seat height is good or bad, but you can’t always tell about the tilt. Makes a big difference.

Nice seat!
I'm old and tired, but my daughter loves to go on bike rides around the neighborhood. While my old seat was 'comfortable' it always left me with numbness after even a 20 min ride. This seat I've ridden on many times and zero sign of numbness. Slightly narrower overall, but the gel cushioning doesn't make it hurt worse, if anything, after the first couple minutes I think it's really *more* comfortable even though it is slightly narrower. 👍👍 Two thumbs up.

It's all about finding your perfect fit...
Have not went on a ride yet but will update my review when I do ... Automatically feels way better than my old stoked saddle ...at 1st when I put this new rx one it didnt feel so great then I realized you can tilt, move the seat forward and back to set it perfect for yourself...man what a huge difference I felt by tilting is like 15 degrees down and pushing it forward to the max line ...it feels pretect and super comfortable...now its time to take on a test ride...

With about 30 hours riding time, road riding, I'll pass along my observations. It is well made and will no doubt last. It is firm but gives a little; pavement bumps are less noticeable. Being a little wider than the oem seat I'd been using, it fits my ischials better - but of course that's relative to me. And it is good to not have pressure on the softer parts there. Happily, I'm having less PRSB (post-ride sore butt).

Probably a good saddle if you are not using a hybrid bike ...
Probably a good saddle if you are not using a hybrid bike in an upright position to sit while riding. Also, the fact that it is Lycra and not synthetic leather or microfibre (indistinguishable from viewing the photo) would only be obvious to someone who understands Serfas moodel# system and looked deep into the spec pages. The model and material should be made obvious on the title page and the word "Lycra" should have been mentioned somewhere.I hope the description will be corrected to avoid any misunderstanding by other buyers in the future.

Finally a comfortable saddle at long last
Finally a comfortable saddle at long last. I have purchased a number of saddles over the last few years in my search for a reasonable degree of comfort. The Serfas RX is finally providing the level of comfort that I was looking for. A great product.

Great Product!
What a great product. It's a bit pricey but very very comfortable seat.
