Useful Book But Like All College Books Over Priced
The book is well written and a useful resource but overpriced for college text and the price keeps it from being a part of every educator's and school's professional development library and that is a shame.

The book is pretty thorough thought it can be a little dry if you don't have a background in law.Still, super helpful and does an excellent job breaking down case law related to Sp.Ed. I ended up doing a rental instead of buying the actual book because new editions always come out.

Good Book
After having read several books concerning the special education laws I love this book. It is easy to read. It makes sense of everything. Best of all it is a fast read because the chapters are not full of too much material. JS

Good overview of the topic.
I am using this text for a survey class on special education law. It is helpful for that purpose. It provides a good survey of the topic, including pertinent legislature, court cases, etc.

Great book
This book is a great addition to any student or teacher wanting to get some overviews about laws relating to Special Education. Does not cover all laws but talks about IDEA, FAPE, 504, etc.
