Lack of information about the cardboard tube / mouthpiece
I am concerned that some reviewers believe the cardboard tube is to protect the mouthpiece - why would you have such an open-ended attachment. If used without the tube, the meter significantly over-reads but there is no information in the product leaflet that mentions placing this tube onto the meter before use. Anyone who uses a peak flow meter at their General Medical Practioners knows that a disposable cardboard tube is always placed on a meter prior to use for hygiene purposes. My current Mini Wright peak flow meter has a plastic removable tube. I would advise anyone buying this product to be aware that without attaching the tube, the meter over-reads.
