My daughter is big for her age and the supermarkets stop selling these dresses at 12years old size so this was perfect

The side seams of this dress were not finished off and I had to sew them to secure pockets in place. I could not return as my granddaughter needed for school, but was disappointed in the quality of product, the colours of the dress also did not match, i.e. the sleeves were slightly different shade to the dress itself!

When I looked at other kids wearing the uniforms they didn't look very red more faded red so when I seen the pink I did think yes that's probably what they wearing no I was defo wrong lol way more pink than in pic but must say still really gorgeous and school didn't complain they just told her how gorgeous she was in it. Its really nice fit tighter at top than bottom plus wee one loves the matching bobble and all the pockets especially the one with zip. Came home first day wearing it and it was blue with ink and well lunch all done front lol so I was dreading first was but you couldn't tell anything was on it so it washed really well which is defo another upside. I really haven't found a downside it was even here quicker than expected so thank you so much to the company.

Dress looks good but absolutely no chance of it fitting my daughter. Her chest is 30” but knowing that school dresses come up small, I ordered one Size 14 and one Size 36. No idea why it suddenly goes from age sizes to inch sizes in the drop down menu but as 36 comes after 14 I assumed they would be different. But no - two Size 14 dresses arrived. The size chart has no mention of 36” so I took a gamble. It’s an inch shorter than the Matalan summer dress so she would be showing off her underwear with this size. Sigh what a pain when you have tall kids.

I think this dress would be ideal for someone who needs a more generous fit but on my kid it looked a bit like a sack of potatoes.The colour is vibrant and she loves the scrunchie, but the dress is very unflattering and quite stiff material - going in the wardrobe for emergencies when all other uniform is in the laundry I think!

I ordered the 14 years as my daughter is 9 but she is a little big for her age and the dress is too small so I'm returning the dress...
