Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Bleach, Complete Kit Pack of 2 (Package May Vary)

I have been using this product for over ten years. I always use a timer to prevent it from burning my skin. I don’t shave my face and I don’t have time to pluck. Besides, plucking is painful, time consuming, and it leaves my skin feeling tender. As long as you wash your face very well with cool water after you use facial bleach, your skin should be not feel irritated. It keeps my facial hair almost invisible.

This is getting harder to find. I have used this product for 30 years to lighten unwanted hair on my upper lip. Once it has grown to where I can't stand it, I have it removed. In-between, this helps keep it un-noticeable. I'm glad I can find it on Amazon and this seller so far has delivered a fresh product.

I was always happy with the final result of using the Sally Hansen old hair bleach formula, which is why I kept coming back to that product over the last 15 years. But the overall experience of mixing the dry powder with the cream bleach and applying it to my arms always felt like an undertaking and it took about 35 min from start to finish. It was messy, the mixed substance was drying, caking, and flaking while drying and falling off the skin, I had to be careful not to smudge it, I had to use the plastic applicator to smoothen the substance on the skin so it continued to cover all the hair while waiting for it to bleach. I used to buy this product at Walgreens, but couldn't find it there lately.This was the first time I ordered it online. I was very surprised when I received the package because the box looked differently and so were the contents. Instead of the 2 bottles (pre-application conditioner and activator) and the hair bleach tube, there were 2 tubes - one with hair bleach cream and one with activator; there was a new plastic applicator and a rectangular mixing container. Today, I tried the product, and I was so happy with the new formula, I decided to write a review. I washed my arms before applying the mixture. Mixing the 2 ingredients from both tubes was easy. The resulting mixture was nothing like the old one - it had a consistency of regular hair color cream. The new spatula was absolutely incredible - because of its large size, it allowed me to apply the mixture on both arms in less than 2 minutes. The mix was distributed evenly, covered all the hairs well and stayed in the same condition until I washed it off. No caking, no flaking, no need to smoothen it, no mess! The smell is very pleasant. The final result was as good as the old mix, but without all the negative experience. I was done in 15 minutes. Very happy with this new formula, I wish they came up with it sooner, will definitely continue using it.

As a pale girl with dark arm hair, I can’t believe I didn’t try this stuff sooner. It worked really well and made me feel so much more confident wearing tank tops and short sleeves. Didn’t burn or irritate my skin at all, but I did notice it bleached my skin some. This faded after a day or so, however to prevent this, I’d still recommend making sure you apply evenly - especially around the edges because that’s where you’ll see bleach lines. I’d also recommend doing this in the shower or over a sink. As the bleach dries, it begins to crumble with every little move you make so you’ll end up with a mess all over if you’re not careful. Girls make sure you tie your hair back!!The bleach solution was relatively easy to mix up, but I found the measuring to be a little annoying. It would be super helpful if they made this in pre-measured packs to make the setup process a little quicker.The process to do both arms (mixing up the solution, applying and waiting, washing it off) takes me about 40 mins total. The results last for about a week or two before you start to see black roots as the hair grows back.

Wow. I can't say enough good things about the new formula. It feels like it was made by someone who actually uses the product. It makes a typically nauseating process feel easy breezy; I smell nice and feel soft after using it. I wish my mother could've used this instead of Jolen when she was my age. Totally life changing.

I was hesitant to try this product because some reviews mentioned having issues with burning. Luckily, I didn't have any problems with the formula. It completely bleached my black facial hair. I'll repurchase.

I have used this product for 25 years. They recently changed from the powder mix to this cream. The application is a lot less messy and easier to apply. It smells a lot stronger than the previous formula and reminds me of mixing hair dye - which is concerning as it is being used directly on your skin. The cream adheres to your skin and stays on your face the entire ten minutes and bleaches very coarse, dark hair. However, it leaves a residue even after showering. This is my second time using this new cream formula and this time it left burn marks - perfect little circles where my skin burned completely off of my face. I’m concerned how they will heal and after 25 years of bleaching my face with Sally Hansen - I will not be using this new formula ever again. Very sad they changed to something that is not beneficial for sensitive skin after 25 years of product loyalty.

Very easy to use. I have black eyebrows, left it on for 5 mins and my brows came out a nice soft brown. The bottles carry a lot of product. Did not burn my skin.
