Easy to Set Up!
This installation couldn’t have been easier. There’s no need to remove anything from your old fixture before you begin except for the bulb. Screw the power module into the socket, connect the wire fittings together, then slide the new fixture inside of your existing 4” recessed fixtures and your done! The spring tabs on the sides hold the fixture firmly in place. The trim fits snugly against the existing trim. The app is fairly easy to set up with the included instructions. I purchased four of these and I set them up on the app as a group. I also set them up on my Echo Show for voice control. That’s a handy feature when you walk in with an armload of groceries! I can operate these fixtures remotely so even if I’m not home, I can control the lights. The effects and colors are also fun to play with. I chose the Feit brand because they are a leading manufacturer of light bulbs with a solid reputation. I was so pleased with the ease of installation of these that I bought a few Feit smart bulbs for other light fixtures in the house.

Great value, responsive and a wonderful addition to our porch lights.
I was skeptical at first because of the other reviews but the setup was super easy and they are super responsive. Also, the colors are pretty neat and will add some flare to our covered porch this holiday season! If you're having issues connecting to 2.4ghz, be sure to reduce the power to the 5ghz network first and then turn it back up once they're connected. I set them all up inside on a normal lamp within a matter of minutes and then relocated them to their proper home on the porch. Best money I've spent in a while on home automation and lighting.

App Limitations, Otherwise Great
Wish the Feit specific app wasn’t needed to group the lights as I use the universal SmartLife app for a lot of other devices. They work great and no connectivity issues in the first month of them being installed.

Great price, decent app, surprisingly easy wifi sync
I bought these to replace my existing led can lights. I was worried they would be hard to install but it was actually a very easy swap. If you have tall ceilings, I recommend using a table lamp and syncing up the lights to your WiFi while you're on the ground. You can then just climb the ladder and plug them in and they're ready to go. Just keep track of which lights are which, and give each light unique name in the feit control app for easier reference later if you're linking to a Google home system or similar.

Total junk
Worked (kinda) at first. But now in the trash can. WiFi integration is very poor at best.DONT BUY.

Randomly going on and off...
Well, they integrate OK with Alexa, setup is very easy, while, suddenly they go on and off randomly by themselves. I have to ask Alexa to switch it off again, singularly or as a group and then, after few minutes, they switch on again.. seems like a haunted house...

They work well when they work
TLDR; two downsides: 1. light not as diffused enough - a bit blinding compared to classic can lights. 2. randomly lose connectivity and need to be setup again.I got a dozen of these to control them with Home Assistant (via Local Tuya integration). They install easy, and aren't too difficult to setup, but every 6 weeks or so one will permanently lose connectivity with Tuya. The wireless router is in the same ceiling (quality Unifi one), so it seems to be the lights' fault. When in that state, they obnoxiously default to on at full brightness, and are not in pairing mode. To put back in pairing mode you need to unplug and replug in a certain way. That means either via fuse/switch that resets all 12 on same circuit (so re-pair all 12 again for one failure), or unplug in ceiling with ladder. Have had to do this 3-4 times now. Also, even at their lowest setting (which is not very dim), they are quite bright to look at. When watching TV in a room with these, they are quite noticeable - which the halogen lights weren't before. All that said, I couldn't find ANY alternative 4inch smart can lights that were a reasonable price (under $60/bulb. these were around $13). If you don't need colored bulbs, i'd recommend using dumb led lights with a smart switch instead. or converting to 6inch can ones with many more options.

Great
These are great! I’ve purchased multiple sets. Super easy to use, setup etc. Out of the 18 I’ve ordered, only two have given me trouble. With some buzzing and slow syncing. Not sure what’s happening but that’s where we are. I really like them.
