There are many cheaper and effective retinols, but the Sunday Riley Luna (retinol) oil is effective, luxurious, and has never irritated my skin - even when I layer it with their lactic acid. It's one of my very favorite luxuries. Sunday Riley's Good Genes lactic acid mask/serum was an instant classic for a reason: it's incredibly effective while still being gentle. Every time I use it, the next morning I marvel at my soft, smooth skin. (Generic lactic acids of any percentage don't hold a candle to it.) This is one of the best bargains if you use the Good Genes about once a week, because that 15ml Luna oil is about 300 drops, or for me, about 100 uses. Since I mask at least once a week and use a strong retinol at least once a week, that's nearly 5 months of use.

A great way to try these items and are generously sized. You only use 3 drops of Luna a night, so that small bottle lasts forever. Good Genes lasted about a month and a half. Plenty of time to see what these powerhouses do and that you will want more, or a great size for travel.

It was Amazon Prime day so I got this set on sale rather then getting them on Sephora as usual. I love both of these as they really work for resurfacing and the oil for nighttime use as you wake up with a fresh deeply moisturized and dewy face. I get exzema when stressed out I don’t used the Sunday Riley acid but go around my exzema spots with the night oil. I’d like to think it help a bit with the dry flaking. I’ve used this product for years now and am an older lady going on 38 as most people think I am but not ... more like 50 ! Soooo Is take a pic but just got outta bed an weird like that. Love these products in combination. A must have !

But it cleared my acne probe areas right up. I’m a big fan of many SR products, Juno being second favorite, but after using these, especially if prone to dry winter skin, it’s hard to go back. Moisturizer now feels on top of my skin, but this doesn’t. And I read a lot of concerns on various beauty boards about staining from the oil and it’s not an issue. It really absorbs into the skin completely and I’ve never seen a single mark on my bedding or clothing from it. Can’t recommend the SR oils enough (although the vit A I was underwhelmed by.) and this is coming from someone who if I accidentally touched olive oil and grazed my face, I’d break out for days. But literally never broken out for SR’s various products. I actually have a hard time falling asleep with out them kind of like chapstick addicts not being able to rest until they apply lol

My favorite skin care routine includes this combo. I used the Luna oil a couple years ago and loved the immediate results. I stopped because of the price but came back and got the combo and I’ve been using it everyday for a month. My skin is significantly smoother, even toned and bright. LOVE LOVE LOVE and just ordered the full size bottles.

I have been using this combo for about 2 weeks. I really like the Luna night serum, I instantly noticed more moisture and I have melasma on my upper lip which has evened our more with these creams. Side note For melasma use Cysteamine Cream... it’s from Sweden and it works instantly ... SOOOO good... so between that and these and tons of sunscreen I have reduced my melasma spots. There is no accurate description here what products are going to be delivered. After checking all the photos, I was expecting to see the Lactic Acid serum, but received Glycolic acid. As I said I was expecting the Lactic one, ordered it and paid for it, but received other product. That’s not how the marketplace should work. We actually should receive the exact product we have been expected.
