Bites off with a snap, because it's dark chocolate and not the soft melty kind. Not very sweet but not super bitter. Does melt creamy smooth in your mouth though. Buying a 12 PK when it dropped to $27 was a brilliant move on my part, so I could include one in several people's Christmas gifts and still keep some.

Absolutely the best chocolate. Hits the best balance between the dark and milk chocolate for a rich but not bitter flavor. Negative reviewers , i believe, expected either dark or milk chocolate, and this ain’t it. For a specific taste.

this is delicious, and has less sugar than milk chocolate but fortunately less of the metals in dark chocolate. It is quite thin, and it doesn't go far in our family since it tastes so good.

The chocolate was old, stale, and tastes awful. Discolored. Appears to have melted and solidified several times. Truly awful and inedible

I don't usually buy milk chocolate bars that don't have hazelnuts, almonds, or any other nuts mixed in with it, but I love how this Lindt milk chocolate bar tastes. It's not too sweet and not too bitter - perfect balance, I think.
