Russell Athletic Men's Dri-Power Open Bottom Sweatpants with Pockets (Retired Colors)

After three years, pants still fit well. I am 5 foot 10 and 190. Only issue is the drawstring and pockets are in poor repair, but wearable, in two of the 8 I bought.

I am a woman can't find women's sweat pants that fit well or are made well that are straight legged so I buy men's. Bought 1 size smaller than usual based on comments, glad I did cause I have to use the draw string to keep them up. I'm 5'4" like the length, don't like short pants of any kind these go below my ankle by about 3". I like them so far. The crotch areas is ok for a woman also when others I've tried are not. The BEST brand is AND1 but they no longer make the cargo straight leg men's sweat pant. :( Going to wash these is warmer water next time to see if they shrink in size but not length.

Good Quality and good fit along with a great price

Russell is a great quality product. However, it is a little large. My husband loves the quality and thickness of the fabric. It can’t be beat. But it does run a bit large. Highly recommend anything Russell, but be aware you might need to order a size smaller.

Got my sweatpants today and I love them. I am a male 5'9 and 190 lbs and I ordered size SMALL and they fit perfect. I read a ton of reviews and people were right in suggesting getting a size down. I wanted the waste to fit without having to tie them tight and they fit perfectly. I am a bit overweight as I recently quit smoking and gained 30 lbs but they still fit great.I would recommend anyone that normally wears a 30 to 33 waist and a 30 to 32 leg getting a small. My normal pant size is 32/30 and these were great. I have not washed them yet so I will update if they shrink at all. They seem to be made well and are medium thickness which is what I wanted as I plan to wear to gym. The red is awesome and is bright but not too bright or fluorescent. For the price you can't beat it. Happy customer. Pics included.

I like the item. I wear 34 inch waist pant. I ordered the large size to have a somewhat loose fit because I wear multilayered thermal outfits below when I walk in cold weather. This item fits me on the waist perfectly, but it appears to be too long. I may need to fold it on the waist to avoid the leg parts thrashing on the ground below the shoe. That is OK with me because no one will see the folds at the waist below my sweatshirt. I wish I had a tailor to make the legs somewhat shorter. I have not washed it yet, so I do not know what would be its condition after being washed and dried.

Well, initially these were nice. I selected them because they came in a wider variety of colors vs. most of the offerings here on Amazon. I also wanted something with pockets because I am a man and that is just where I keep stuff even when lounging around at home. They fit quite a bit larger than I would have thought, I wear 40" pants and the XL are certainly not the correct size for me. They do have a drawstring but it is a loop all the way around so there is no good way to tighten them...Not sure who designed that but it has to be the most useless implementation of a draw string I have ever seen. I finally figured out how to tie a sort of slip knot that I am able to tighten them with but after a little while it loosens up and they fall down again. Maybe if I was a sailor and knew more knots...After a week or so of wearing them around the house after work I noticed that the fabric started pilling. I thought maybe it was because they were new and it would come off in the wash. Nope, wrong again, they just keep pilling and pilling and pilling and...Well you get the idea. Just yesterday I reached in the pocket and found a hole between the leg of the pant and pocket. After such minimal use I have to say these are holding up terribly.Pros:-Lots of color options-Has pocketsCons:-Fit is not as expected even after looking at the fit chart-Worst draw string implementation in the history of man kind-Cheap quality fabric that pills quicker than anything else I have ever owned-Poor constructionSkip these and buy some from Champion, they are so much better and my 1 year old pair still look/feel newer than the Russell ones I got just over a month ago.

It feels soft and also the right length for my 5'9" full figure frame with my sneakers on. I have a small waist and that's when the drawstring comes in handy. Like the way the opening is at the bottom to not fit at the ankle, more open then the ladies too. With Clydesdale like thighs, no more rubbing against my legs either. I highly recommend if you like loose fit and need length for up to 6' 2", I would think ladies and or men.

I love Russell sweatpants. Not too heavy, but not light and thin. The overall look is perfect, however their sizing is way off. I took these in a small after reading to go down a size and they fit perfect. However, for the closed bottom pairs, I’m a large in black, and a medium in Oxford. This company seems to lack proper sizing techniques. There’s a lot of potential here, just need to figure out their sizing and have more colours available for the closed bottom.

Kind of a weird fitting pants, im a girl so i wanted like the loose pants look, im also veryyy tall so this didnt really work out. They were too short, waistband is weird too.
