Good flavor and good price.

Instead of buying two or three cans at a time from the store once I found these on Amazon, I bought them by the case. Canned vegetables have just as high quality as frozen vegetables. Frozen vegetable vegetables are OK but they always have a shelf life. Canned vegetables, have a much longer shelf life. I use these vegetables to add to different dishes that I make. The convenience factor is high for these kinds of vegetables for me. Del Monte is a good brand of produce. I have never been dissatisfied with the flavor or the Quality.

These cans are the perfect size for two people to use. Never have to discard any left overs.

As a single man, I find buying these 8.5 Oz cans to be excellent for side dishes, and additions to soups I make or perhaps a stew. Del Monte has excellent quality always! Buying a case of these means, you always have a few on hand. If you have a guest, you can always make two cans, or one dividing it in half. I like to make a white sauce for the peas and carrots. Apparently it's a Cajun thing! My mother having been Cajun. My sweet peas or early June peas, will always be in a white sauce, sometimes with bacon crumbles! We miss you Mom...
