They don’t ship things in just clear plastic bags, especially clear plastic bags that weren’t even sealed.2. ContentGOODE: The Throw Down Bases came in the same package as the Fisher Price Triple Hit Baseball set we had ordered at the same time. The 5 pieces came in that plastic bag, nice and simple.EIFFEL: I can’t believe they didn’t throw in a free TV with the bases. The furniture stores do it.3. First ImpressionGOODE: The first thoughts that came to my mind were, wow, they are bright orange and that they were pretty weighty. I knew right away they were going to do their job and went on to the Fisher Price set.EIFFEL: Willie is the master of the obvious. My first though was, “Man, Amazon shipping is sooo cheap.” Would you be smiling if you were shipped in the same cramped box as someone else? What’s worse is that those things are going to attract all the neighbor kids. I was perfectly happy being the all-time hitter.7. Every year we have a holiday party at the park that includes a very competitive kickball game In the past we have used whatever was handy for bases with mixed results. No more. These bases will last forever, are easy to see and no more disputes over which leaf was supposed to be first base. They started out a little slippery but were fine once they got dirty which happened very quickly.

These bases seem to last longer than the thicker white ones. We have purchased so many baseball base sets over the years since all of our boys are baseball fanatics. These work perfect! We use them in the backyard on a daily basis. They sit in the sun daily, but they don't breakdown nearly as fast as other brands. They are thin, but I consider than a plus since they are lighter to carry if you are taking them somewhere (which we have also done). Sometimes baseball coaches ask us to bring these to practice if the field doesn't have bases. Being thin is also a plus if they are on the back patio and the lawnmower happens to run over them. (Yes, this has also happened . . .) Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these bases. Since they sit in the rain and sun year round and are used continually by our boys and their friends, we usually buy a set every 1-2 years, but with the price being reasonable, it is manageable.

These are great. Was looking for something my kids and I could take to the park to use when we play baseball together. These fit that bill perfectly. I do wish they were a little less slick on the bottom, but for the price they are great. Easy to carry. This way I don't have to look through the trash can in the park for a cardboard box to rip into 4 pieces to make the bases. My son tried to push off the wet grass on one of these and ended up doing the splits. It was kind of funny, but kind of not. Not sure why they made them orange. Maybe for that wild and crazy time that I played baseball at night. Nosebleed waiting to happen.

I have a set of four year old identical twin boys and this was their first year playing T-ball. Got these so they could practice in the yard at home. Light enough they can pick them up and place them in the yard but heavy and durable enough they stand the abuse and don't move around unnecessarily while playing. I felt it was a great deal for the price. They get my recommendation.Disclaimer: I paid full price. I never get free stuff. These thoughts and opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way. These are just like you’d expect. They serve the purpose and can be stored anywhere. They do stain when they get dirty but that didn’t bother me too much because you just throw them on the ground and step on them. There’s no reason to imagine they’ll stay clean.

Going to the batting cages, they have pitching mounds that are just plastic. Which means the kids are constantly kicking it around and gets to the point are why bother using them. I wanted something I could use for practices and home use that would be cheap but durable. This product is both, great purchase. The product is rubbery and flexible too, and also has some weight to it. So no longer do I worry about the pitcher kicking the mound around when pitching. This goes for the rest of the bases too. Excellent product if you are in need of bases for practice or for laying around at home.
