Authentic-looking and kinda scary! It keeps the birds away and might scare your Amazon delivery driver if placed on or near your front porch. Lol. The only complaint is that I wish it was a little more flexible - the plastic is a bit hard and it comes in one position - basically coiled. It is bendable, but would have to brace it or something to hold a different pose if you wanted to do that. Having said that, it works just fine the way it is. I recommend!

This is definitely a good mid-tier snake toy. I bought is to keep my neighbor's cat from crapping in my yard and as far as I can tell, this snake has looked real enough to fulfill this purpose.Edit: I guess it works better than I thought it would because I've scared myself and a few guests unintentionally a few times over the past few months after I forgot about it. The cats have taken their business elsewhere.

Expensive and not at all as large as they should be for the money. I use them to keep the ducks out of my pool and have never had a problem with a fake snake, these are not doing this. Ducks aren't getting smarter....snakes are getting smaller!

It would only fool a person who glanced it out of the corner of their eye, but it looks real in photos.

I was seriously disappointed by this replica. The Description reads "rubber" snake. I was expecting a flexible rubber snake. The snake I received was perhaps a hard rubber but it was actually more like a hard molded vinyl toy. There is no flex in this product. I am seriously disappointed.

Looks VERY realistic. Great for dog training or prank scares, especially when paired with a motion activated speaker with a rattle sound! My wife and mother-in-law won't go near it.

My kid is into snakes now. I agree to plastic so he picked this out and loves it. We have had it for a few months now and he plays with it almost every day.

I have a small water fall that was being taken over by birds of all kinds. I placed this snake up near the water. Immediately, I saw a decline in the birds around my pond. This worked great.
