Why did you choose this product over others?:Was worried this was going to be cheap crap, but it’s far from it! Really good quality, super easy to put together. Feel solid and like it will last for years. You do need base weights for sure. Well worth the money 👍

This is a really nice umbrella for the price. It is easy to assemble and looks great. The only downside is that even in a gentle breeze the umbrella has a tendancy to spin such that in my case it wasn;t over the garden table but shading the neighbours lawn! The problem is the 2 tightening srews which do not fully lock the parasol in position. Maybe they should re-think this, I had a Songmics previously which had a much better locking mechanism.This does not make the umbrella bad as on calm days is stays put.

Ignore the negative reviews! This parasol is great!! Easy to put together..it’s large & lovely!! Offers Brilliant shade.It is sturdy & does what it’s meant to do & doesn’t spin in the wind..would recommend.

Broken twice do not buy, spins around and doesn’t stay in one position and now a couple months in the lever arch is broken so it’s unusable

Ive used Amazon for 10 years plus and I’ve never left a review before. This warranted it! I can’t believe the quality for that money, it’s amazing they can afford to supply and ship them for under £70. It’s sturdy, looks great and does exactly what you need - creates shade! Obviously you need weights, but I bought those from Amazon for £40. JUST BUY IT!

The parasol is sturdy and looks good and appears well made. It takes a while to assemble but persevere.In terms of value for money the actual parasol seems to be reasonable but you must allow for the additional cost of the base stabilisers and then if you elect to fill them with sand there is further cost. (if you fill them with water then they must be emptied before there is a likelihood of frost else the containers could split if/when the water freezes).In use the parasol provides good cover but in anything other than absolutely still air then the canopy moves dramatically. Even the slightest breeze can render it unusable.You also need to be aware that the footprint of the unit is quite large and the base weights once filled with either water or sand means that it is not easy to move.Think carefully before you move away from a traditional central post parasol

Great bit of kit, seems sturdy, well made and all. Ordered it when the forecast predicted a sunny weekend at the beginning of April, received it promptly, unpacked and put it all together quite easily. As soon as I sat undet the shade, a million clouds suddenly appeared and wind started to blow. So I closed it down and have stayed indoors until today. Maybe in August then the sun shows up again I will be able to use it and update my review.
