This show is seriously underrated
12 Monkeys (the show) is the best time travel fiction I have ever seen, seriously underrated. The first season wavers a little in finding its footing. The 2nd season found its stylistic footing better, but also explored a few storylines that I found a bit boring. But then season 3 and 4, taken together, are an absolute work of beauty. Just about every time travel logic twist gets explored at some point, including some mind-twisting loops-within-loops, giving opportunity to explore lots of questions about nature vs. nurture, choice vs. fate, the one vs. the many, guilt, family, whether the ends justify the means, and so on. And the show has a huge heart, and pulls off some deeply-touching moments, especially near the end, that feel incredibly well-earned. Terry Matalas also did a great job with Picard season 3, but 12 Monkeys is a masterwork. Seriously, watch this show!

Amazing Time Travel Show - Beyond Anything I Expected
I recently discovered this show and watched all four seasons back to back. I was totally blown away by the show and how much attention to detail the writers and showrunners gave to the story. Initially I wasn't sure how they could stretch the premise into four seasons and I expected it to decline in quality. For 12 Monkeys, this is not the case at all. It is one of the few shows that knew what story it wanted to tell and wasn't dragged out or cut short like so many other shows in this genre. I highly recommend this show to anyone who likes time travel stories and is open to strange concepts and quirky characters. For those who already fell in love with this show and are looking to buy a physical copy, I included pictures of the Blu-ray set which I just purchased. The eight disk set includes all four seasons and the digital transfers are high quality. So far I have not experienced any issues. The slipcase has different art than the interior which I appreciate. My slipcase case has a little shelf wear which I have found to be a common issue when ordering older shows from Amazon. It seems that as inventory is shifted around, the corners of the slipcase do get slightly damaged. There was no issue however with the actual case or any of the disks. If you are looking to purchase this, I highly recommend the Blu-ray version.

The best show about time travel?
The blu-ray's are fine, the picture is what you'd expect. I watched it on a wall, it took me quite a few nights. There are extras, of which I watched only a few, I'm keeping them for the next time. It's a great great show. A fairy tale for grownups.

Great
Ordered for my bf, all discs were great till the last two. These last 2 skipped a lot even when we cleaned em to try to help it. Missed a good 5 minutes of each of the last like 10 episodes, which was quite annoying cause no matter how much we cleaned them and tried rewinding they would NOT play those skipping parts?! Otherwise it was all great, great show ♡
