Perfect Reliability
+ Extremely secure wire attachment system, the set I bought over 5 years ago still has a perfect and secure connection, you never need to worry about these ever coming loose.+ Easy to wire up and even comes with a sweet little matching screwdriver.+ Thin profile.+ Perfect and reliable connection to a wide range of cables; I've used them with high-quality 12G copper wire and low-quality 16G CCA wire with excellent results.+ High quality copper core with thick gold plating means excellent conductivity.+ Looks cool and is very easy to handle, very easy to grip.+ New design has brighter and easier to read polarity markings.- Would be nice if they came with a few spare screws.- The quality of the core and screws of the current design is slightly inferior to those from 5 years ago. The quality is still excellent, however.- It would make sense to me if these were sold in 10-pair and 14-pair packs for 5-speaker and 7-speaker setups, respectively.I bought a set of these over 5 years ago and have been so happy with them I bought the same model again when I needed more. These banana plugs take a little more work to install than some of the tool-free plugs, but having a permanent, reliable connection to your speakers that will last a lifetime is more than worth the extra time and monetary investment. I have these terminating KnuKonceptz 12G Kord Kable and highly recommend this combo if you want audiophile-grade cables at an excellent price.

Well made, easy to connect
These are not the cheapest banana plugs you can buy, but they are much better than the cheap stuff. I use them to connect up feedlines in my ham radio station. They are also good for audio connections (e.g. speakers), and even for light duty 12v power connections. The gold plating helps assure that your connections will remain viable in several years, when less expensive stuff might tarnish. And unlike several other banana plugs available on Amazon, they connect smoothly. They will not scrape out the jacks, which results in intermittent contact. They use two set screws to securely connect to the cable. You screw the cover onto the connector after you successfully connect the wire. So no more "do-overs" when you forget to put the cover on first, as with other banana plugs. All in all, they are well worth the price.

strong, good quality banana style speaker connectors
The product comes in a nice cardboard box; the connectors are set into a clear plastic vacuform insert. It’s a nice presentation and also protects the connectors from shipping and storage damage. The set also includes a small bladed screwdriver. Because I was installing these connectors onto thick Audioquest Indigo 2 speaker cable (four solid copper, approximately 22 gauge, strands per channel), this screwdriver could not provide enough torque to screw down the attachment screws. Perhaps with smaller wire, the screwdriver would work.Unlike other bananas, in order to separate the inner connector from the outer cylinder, it is unscrewed clockwise. And instead of sliding the outer cylinder onto the wire first, it is not screwed on until after the inner connector is attached to the wire end. The two set screws first need to be unscrewed; then the bare ends of the speaker wires are inserted. The set screws are then screwed down flush with the side of the inner connector. It required a lot of force with a large-handle screwdriver with this Audioquest wire. The resulting attachment seems solid and secure. They insert snugly into the amplifier’s 5-way binding posts. These Sewell connectors appear to be strong, well made and a fair value; they should provide solid electrical continuity for many years.

Set screws take too much space on larger wire
These are nice. They look good, appear to have been quality built, and sold at a reasonable price point. For me, they didn't fit, literally. I have never used banana plugs and have always had to divide, twist, and insert part of my speaker wire in order to hook up speakers. I finally decided to clean up my installation while upgrading some components of my stereo/video system. Many reviews spoke of these as being more than large enough for most any wire. Even a business rep gave size dimensions showing how large speaker wire could be handled. My wire wouldn't come near to fitting. I am mentioning this for the few that may be in my shoes. I purchased monster cable way back. This was when monster speaker cable had basically one size, monster. It appears to be larger than 2 gauge. I have found that I would need to use electrical lugs to achieve a neat installation. Something like the ends on small car battery cables. Yes, really. But to my point. The business rep provided inside dimensions which actually sounded like it could handle larger sizes though not as large as mine. What was not mentioned and possibly not thought of is that your wiring enters a tube with 2 set screws that are then screwed in to hold your wire neatly and tightly. But, to get your wire in, one must screw the set screws all the way out and then if your wire takes all of the space inside the tube you cannot screw the set screw down all the way. And the set screws have to be screwed down flush with the outside as the cover that screws over the top of the tube will not attach and clear the set screws unless they are all the way in. This means that one can give dimensions on the tube the speaker wire goes into, but possibly, half to 2/3s of the that tube can be used because of the requirement of the set screws having to go all the way in. Your 16, 14 gauge is fine, even 12gauge, but not too much larger because of set screw clearance.

These fit my 12-gauge wire without issue, and they are of great quality.
They are easy to use by simply plugging in and out as needed--really convenient when moving speakers. The plugs make a really good electrical connection, and speakers sound as they should. I've had these over a year and the have had 0 issues.
