Cheap- must modify to work properly
Big price for a poorly designed cheap part that requires modifications to work on my Jeep TJ with 3-1/4" lift. I am a retired toolmaker and as soon as I got this part ( which was missing the two nuts) I realized the packaging cost more than the part. All the part needs to work properly is a small offset formed in it to allow the screw heads to clear the shift linkage but instead because it is flat the linkage hits and binds on the screws preventing the Hi/Lo 4wd from moving like it should. No I have to take out and try and bend an offset in it to make it work. This part cost less than $.50 to manufacture, comes with no instructions, was missing parts and doesn't work without modification and Amazon charges $22 for it????? - the packaging was nice tho.

Not just for Wranglers - Also works on XJ Cherokees
We have a 2000 Cherokee Sport with a lift and transfer case drop installed. It wouldn't shift into low range because the mounting bracket for the linkage interfered with the required travel. This part fits perfectly and completely solves the problem. Hardest part of the installation is removing enough carpet to access the mounting screws for the bracket. All in all, not that bad. About 1.5 hours start to finish. I could do the next one in less than an hour. Delighted with this.

Don't try to save money with this one - buy a better product. Wish I had
Wound up being unable to use this. Attempted installation but would not fit. Consulted a very experience off road mechanic who stated that these type almost always have problems with install and either require welding or other modification since due to one of the bolts interfering with shifting. No instructions, but it's not difficult to figure out. Don't try to save money with this one - buy a better product. Wish I had...

Easy bracket but pain with the linkage bound up
This bracket did exactly like I needed it to. My tj has a 1.25" body lift and the transfer case shifter was so out I couldn't use 4lo. This bracket went on super easy... After you unbind the linkages. That was the toughest part. For the money it was worth it.

Linkage drop
Worked great. With a new 3" lift the linkage was popping out and this cured the problem

Worked great. I have a 2002 Jeep TJ with a inch and quarter body lift and a one inch transfer case drop, it lined up my linkage perfect. Now I can shift my 4WD in 4 high and 4 low
