Microwave Oatmeal
I use these dried apples in my oatmeal every morning. My recipe:- ( I use a glass Pyrex bowl to cook the oats)- 1/3 cup of rolled oats- One TBLSP of cubed dried apples.- Dash of salt- 1 cup of water- A teaspoon or so of avacado oil, to prevent boiling over in the microwave.- Stir ingredients- Cook on power level 5, for 8 minutes, uncovered in the microwave.- After the cooking in the microwave, I let the oatmeal sit for about 5 minutes.- I add about ten chocolate chips before eating.

Very flexible, great for fall baking. Used in apple, walnut coffee cake with a strusel topping. Added to pancakes. Added to oatmeal/chia seeds. Very versatile and good value

MOIST
Note these are dried, not freeze dried. They were surprisingly moist because I didn't notice that in the product title. I got these for the goats on a farm that I work at part-time, and they were very well-received. They smelled really good, seemed sticky/relatively fresh. I also thought pricing was reasonable. However, I will note the nutrition information on the package looks SO SHADY - printed out, grainy/blurry, super sus - almost impossible to read some facts on there. I took off a star for that.

Chinese apples with sulphur dioxide
Buyer be aware. Don't buy! I fell prey to the "Small business" label and bought these. But the packaging is cheap and the product didn't sit right with me so I went back to the listing and looked closer. These are not organic apples (and not listed as so) but they come from China where inorganic arsenic is often used in pesticides for apples in China. I suspect if I had these tested I might confirm this. But bottom line... shady Amazon listing made it tough to see. This should be cheaper as a red flag. But I guess buying organic would be a bit safe. I would not buy food from China. I will be throwing my $30 away, I suppose a low price for a valuable lesson.

These are great
I love to keep a bag of these by my chair for snacking in the evenings. And my toddler granddaughter is obsessed with them-better for her than the processed snacks.

Perfect addition to my breakfast.
I add the apple pieces, with dried blueberries and pineapple to my oatmeal before I cook it. Divine

Edit: Amazon is providing a refund ... Spoiled/Oxidized ... very brown
Edit 09 January 2024: Amazon is providing a full refund for the oxidized bag so I'm averaging the 1 star for this bag with what I would have given the first bag and giving them a total of 3 stars. This was my second order of these diced apples. The first order was almost exactly a year ago and I had no problem with that order. I've been using those diced apples slowly (typically adding a handful to my morning oatmeal) over the year. I'd split the bag in two freezing half the bag. I mention that to explain the picture I attached ... the fresh-looking dices are the last of the now year old bag while the spoiled, oxidized, and unappetizing looking stuff in the bag is the bag that just arrived. I'm hoping that Presto Sales (the seller of these diced apples) will honor their guarantee and replace the spoiled/oxidized bag.
