Bought these for a solid wood hall tree
Bought these for a heavy solid wood hall tree. The A/C filter vent is right behind it, so that means my older parents have to move this heavy hall tree out of the way once a month. These make the process much easier since it no longer sinks into their carpet and glides very smoothly.

No More Back Flips...
These aren't as effective as I had hoped they would be, but they are a significant improvement. I have bench seats at my dining room table, and on the carpet these are very difficult to scoot out when getting up from the table or when sitting down. In fact I have almost gone over backwards a couple times due to the high center of gravity, and the friction of the legs on the carpet. When I installed these the benches are much easier to slide out, but when sitting on them they are a bit more challenging, although much improved over the original setup. The pads are the perfect size for my needs, and can barely be seen on the legs of the benches. When I installed these, I used some sand paper to roughen up the surface, and remove anything that might prevent a good adhesion of the pad. Additionally, after sanding the bottom of the leg, I cleaned the bottom surface with rubbing alcohol to remove any saw dust, and ensure a clean surface. After letting the legs dry for a good 10 to 15 minutes, then I placed the pads on each bench leg.

Strong and Durable
Finally found the perfect size to fit under my living room table legs. Was tired of seeing oversized ones sticking out beyond the thickness of the legs. I hardy know they are there until I want to move my heavy table, and without applying much effort, my table glides easily over the carpet. After all the moving I do with that table, it's nice to know the adhesive is keeping the sliders exactly in place.

easy to glide or slide on natural stone tile surface
I need to move our large patio umbrella to different locations in our backyard at least once a day to shield our plants from the direct sun ray. I used to move the umbrella by tilting its support base during the move but this made the umbrella holder (attached umbrella to its base) loosed and slightly damaged the its connection threads since our patio umbrella and its base are very heavy, I attached the 1 3/4" sliders to the bottom of this large umbrella base to help to move our the umbrella in the vertical position. These sider help me substantially because it allow me to slider the patio umbrella and its base preventing further damage to the confection threads of the umbrella holder. These are very good products. I did not give 5 stars because their thickness is little thin for my task although they work. I highly recommend this product.

My IKEA coffee table slides across the area rug, PLUS a tip for applying it evenly...
I found these very easy to apply. So far, the adhesion is great. To make sure I applied them straight, I did the following:1. Prop up the piece of furniture (mine is a coffee table, so I used a yoga block, lol).2. Peel off the backing3. Place the slider, adhesive side up, into a corner of a small box.4. Tilt the box and get it under the leg, make sure the slider is in a corner, and push the box upward until the slider is in place.Hope this makes sense. I used a small box so I could easily tilt it to get it under the let. It worked well for me, hope it helps someone else!
