Black Wallpaper

The Mecpar wallpaper is good quality and the deals they offer from time to time is outstanding.I have used two colors both were darker colors and it turned out really well.It is sturdy, thick, and easy to work with. The coverage is very good.Not sure how the lighter colors would do but the dark green and the blue gray are not see through at all and true to color shown on the site.It does not tear easily if you need to reposition.Its easy to smooth as you apply with no bubbling.I just bought more colors to have on hand due to excellent deal offers for later use. While it applies like contact paper it is much thicker and better quality that feels and looks like real wallpaper,Can't go wrong with this purchase especially when they have deal prices.I like that it comes in much longer rolls than most other brands too.

I loved this wallpaper. I used it for my dresser and the color matched perfectly. But when removing the wallpaper it was a bit difficult to remove.

I buy this product to use as a backing for sewing patterns. I cut my paper patterns and I then stick them to this contact paper and re-cut out the pattern. It basically adds stability to the paper so I am able to use the pattern over and over again. Works great for what I use it for. I did have one issue with my latest purchase. I reordered the identical product and the product I received was a lighter gray and it was not textured. It also seems thinner. Thankfully since I didn't use it for it's intended purpose, it still worked for me and so I didn't return it. If I had purchased it to finish a project where I applied it to furniture or a wall, it would have definitely looked different and I would have needed to return the product for a refund. I would recommend when purchasing, to purchase more then what you think you will need for your project, so you are able to possibly receive it all from the same manufacturing lot.

I bought this to cover a black writing desk. The desk is a cheap pressed wood desk that had tape on it so the color to it is peeled off on some spots. First the texture of this is awful. It's not smooth at all, and even if it did work well to cover the desk it would not be comfortable to actually use the desk afterwards. The texture is familiar but I can't place it. Second, this contact paper is not thick at all. So it's not covering the black color of this desk. I'd need to cover this twice to achieve the actual color I wanted. I was originally going to rate this three stars but then as I started typing this up I went to remove the contact paper from the desk (it's been on there for <20 minutes) and figured I could include that in the review since using it is easy. However, upon removal it removed even more of the original color from the desk. Truthfully I would not recommend this to anyone for any project. Maybe it would work better on the wall but with what just happened to this desk I would never recommend trying it out.

I liked this contact paper when i first started using it. No bubbles or likes and if i messed up i could pull paper up and readjust without issue and paper easily stuck to table. Halfway through my project and i was at the end if the roll. I took a couple measurements and after doing the math i quickly realized there was only 72” on the roll. So now i have to order another roll to finish project tomorrow. It should have been 118” which would have completed my project..

Must buy very easily to install, installed it on my family room wall as an accent wall it compliments the space so well.

The fact that I’m writing my first review EVER says a lot about this wallpaper. I decided to do an accent wall in my living room and and it was the best decision I could have made. The paper went onto the wall flawlessly and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments since the install. The paper arrived within 1 day from ordering through Amazon Prime and all of the rolls were the same color matte green. Initially, I was nervous after reading all of the reviews suggesting the paper had a bad chemical smell, were different shades and wouldn’t apply smoothly but this was far from my experience. I peeled the adhesive backing down all of 2-3 inches and stuck only that much at the very top of my wall. I firmly rubbed it into the wall and dropped the rest of the roll to the floor. I used the grid on the back side of the wallpaper to cut the paper perfectly at the baseboard. There wasn’t much left on the roll after cutting, so I used the little that was left over to measure where to precut the next few rolls I would need. I Climbed back on the ladder and started to peel down more of the backing little by little, smoothing and firmly pressing into the wall until it was completely on the wall. I continued with this process until all 10 rolls plus the small pieces that were cut off from each roll were used. Don’t second guess this purchase, just buy it! It turned out perfect.

Contact sheet texture looks good Placed and smoothed on easily on my side kitchen corners .

I was expecting it to be matte but it's not. It's semi glossy.

The paper is thick but there were many stains and imprints when I opened it. It looks bad because of the damage to the paper.
