Simple and Effective
This thing works like a charm. Just takes a few pulls through with moderately firm downward force to do the primary sharpening, then a few more very light pulls to remove the micro-burrs and refine the edge to razor sharpness. Those here who rant about its worthlessness are either working for the competitors or don't have enough brain cells to figure out how to use this correctly. I just sharpened a set of dull steak knifes and a large Bowie knife with no problem.

Awesome sharpener at a great low price!
This is the best knife sharpener I've ever used. My knives, from pocketknives to kitchen knives are now razor sharp. Very easy to use. If your knife is really dull you have to keep pulling it through until the edge is correct. It's actually oddly satisfying to use, as you can see small shavings of metal accumulate underneath this thing. Works equally well on stainless and regular steel.

Works excellent but is a wear item
This sharpener can put an excellent edge on dull knives. It should be noted that this sharpener should be replaced from time to time as the two disks eventually get nicked up from use. This isn't a defect.

May be the best knife sharpener ever!
Even though it looks simple, maybe even cheap, it performs amazingly well. I have struggled for years trying to put a good edge on our kitchen knives, only to be disappointed frequently with the results. However, when I pulled the first blade through the cleverly designed sharpener, I was amazed! The old knife was like new! I grabbed more knives from the drawer and spent the next half hour restoring the edges to our old knives. My wife was pleased. My credibility as a knife sharpener was restored. Now, as I take the knife from the dishwasher, I give it a few passes on the sharpener, just to knock of any rough places that might show up. This is a good invention.

Impossibly simple sharpener, great results
The Rada is simple, inexpensive, amazingly effective. Like other outdoorsmen I have stones, files, ceramic rods, etc. for knives, broadheads, and machetes. The Rada takes care of them all. It is portable, small, lightweight, rugged, simple and quick to use. It is for maintaining the edge of tools with thin, properly ground edges, not for fixing deeply chipped or damaged tools or those with thick, abruptly angled edges.

Best knife sharpener so far.
Hands down the best knife sharpener I've used for kitchen and pockets knives.Be aware that it will take a while to get the knife sharp at first because this sharpener is actually putting a brand new edge on your blade. There will not be any marks on the sides of your blade like most sharpeners leave because of this new edge it's making.I counted about 100-120 medium pulls through on most of my knives before the edges were new and razor sharp. Some blades edges match this sharpeners angle better and therefore it take less time to get the edge, but don't give up if after a few pulls the blade isn't sharp. When you hear the blade is mostly quiet (medium pressure) when pulling it through, you'll be razor sharp. After this pull the blade very lightly to hone it which takes some of the burrs off. After this process touching up the blade takes only a couple pulls.Best sharpener ever and believe me, I've tried a bunch.
