The one from the left (blue cup) has been with me since 2018, the one from the right is the new one I bought in 2025 (metal cup).being used daily every time I'm in the desk it has a glass in it with a drink. since that old purchase I had no accident of spillage or that I remember of having while being used. it holds quite the load so I don't worry of the clamp failing due to the drink weight as you can see the metal cup that is quite solid loaded with a smoothie that makes it considerable more heavy, but as I said, haven't had any indication of failure or about to from the old/new one holding weight of any drink or smoothie I had.Here is something I spotted the holder cup is glued but has 2 fused points (the little curve that goes outward the cup rim) that reinforces the part to remain attached with, I see no fatigue being developed over the years since that picture comes from the old one. (the new one has the exact same construction, so maybe they know it doesn't cause issues being like that)So, if you see that over the year the outer rim isn't aligned a bit with the clamp body, don't worry. I had mine like that since 2020 with no issues at all. even for the price this thing overdelivered and keeps going strong.

This product works impressively well. I was concerned it would not have enough resistance to hold my full yeti but it certainly does.

This is a great cup holder. There have been times I have almost knocked over a drink because I have so much on my desk.Pros...It is a nice large clamp and will clamp to many things. I use it a few different places (mostly my desk which is a rounded top and flat bottom). It is made of a good, dense plastic material with metal springs. The clamp is easy enough to open and close with one hand. Even though it won't hold every type of glass, it works for most of them I have. I would say if they made it even 1/4" wide, it would fit a lot more glasses.Cons...THE HOLE/SLOT IN THE BOTTOM IS NOT NEEDED. I understand that they advertise this as you can put your phone in it and that slot in is so the charger cord can go through. There are so many cell phone holders out there that I can't see many people buying this ROUND cup holder for the purpose of holding a rectangle phone. Most people will use this as a cupholder. Here is the problem...cups will sweat with ice in them which will result in condensation dripping down on whatever surface is underneath. If it is a hard floor, then someone could fall. I don't know who makes these but I could not find one without that slot on the bottom. Whomever designed this just didn't think it through and if they wanted to make a cell phone holder they should have made one separate and left the hole out of the cup holder. I guess I will just put something there to close that off.

The drink holder placement in my camper van is not ideal... I'd been looking for expensive solutions. This was a cheap and easy way around not. Now my soda is always in reach. Hooray for convenience... boo for my soda drinking habit!

I bought this because I was tired of having my coffee mug knocked over on my desk all the time. This little thing is genius! It's got a great clip on it, that is strong and long so it holds up well. You can't put mugs with handles in it, but it fits a standard-size travel mug without a handle and anything that size. I love having my coffee just at the edge of my desk, free from knock-overs.

I've owned this cup holder for nearly a year and use it daily. I was so satisfied with it that I ordered a second one for my work desk a few months ago. Mostly I use it to hold an 11.5 oz glass bottle of Perrier water. This type of bottle is not light but I've never had a problem with it. The clip has a very good grip. I also use it to hold a stainless steel water bottle that is about 9 inches tall. The cup holder depth is about 1 3/4 inches. Cups with a handle won't fit well unless there is enough clearance (at least 1 3/4 in) from the bottom of the cup to where the handle starts. At the rim, the cup holder part is 3.5 inches wide, then it narrows towards the bottom and it ends up being 3 inches wide where the cup rests. At home I use it on a perfectly straight desk edge. At work my desk's edge is slightly beveled and I still have no problems. I will order one for Christmas for a co-worker. She has admired mine!
