Great for chili dogs!
Bigger cans than I usually get but perfect for making 4 chili dogs. 👍 Can't beat the taste - also great for topping a bowl of Fritos with cheese and diced onions. Yum!

a very delicious chili without the canned chili flavor
Pros: This chili is really tasty. I like mine with a sprinkle of shredded cheese and saltine crackers. I have been making my way through every brand I can find of canned chili and this is in my top five for flavor. The meat is pureed and there is nothing difficult to chew or swallow. The chili isn't bean heavy which might be a pro or con depending on who is eating it. Finally, the cans are huge. I can turn one can into two meals. Some might choose to eat the whole can at once, but I am not one of them. Cons: There is a slight heat to this chili, it isn't bad but, those with digestion issues might have problems with it. This chili has a pureed meat consistency that some put some people off of it. My adult daughter thought I was dumping dog food in a bowl at first glance.

Pretty decent, and better than the rest.
This doesn't compare at all to homemade chili, but it's in a can. so get over yourself. But it's finey itself as Chili and is totally acceptable on a chili dog and is probably fine for backed potatoes. Bean texture is fine making up around 40% of the volume, it's probably about 40% "meat", and the other 20% is sauce - as expected the chili blends most of the flavors together and I couldn't really disquingish between meat & bean - but as chuncks of chili they fine. I found the sauce thinkness appropriate (thick gravy) and muttled well with melted cheese. I agree with some other reviewers that some canned beef stew is nearly this thick, but unless your chili is thickened with velveta it's not going to get much thicker then this and be either edible or "chili". Homemade chili is rarely this thick and also better. So I don't see the point of this issue other than for chili-dogs, which this chili is fine for. It'll be a staple in my pantry for when I can't be bothered to make it myself.

A delicious and spicy tasting chili.
As someone who has loved all kinds of Chili for more than 7 decades I have tried different brands over the years. While browsing on Amazon recently for soups and Chili I came across this brand (Wolf Brand Chili with beans, 24 ounce can) for a great price and I decided to purchase it. This brand of Chili has been around wince 1895 and I had eaten it in the past. This large size can is enough Chili to feed anyone with a big appetite, and I found it to be delicious. I am very pleased with my purchase. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Training alone in combatives and self-defense).

Wasn't for me
Generally a big fan of all things Texas (and wolves in general) so had high expectations. Wasn't bad. Not soupy or watery or worse oily, so there's that. Can is large, very filling. But for me, that is where the unique positives end, unfortunately. No large chunks of meat, texture/consistency is reminiscent of paste (prior to heating, so sometimes "watery" is not an inherently bad thing!). Just kind of reminded me of cat food for some reason. Seems more like a very high-end version of refried beans than a masterful legacy-bound chili, to me. I'm a humble person, it was a reasonable meal I'd appreciate being offered. Canned food is canned food, it's always a lesser (and of course saltier) "consumerized" version of the "original" product/recipe so bearing that in mind the taste was enjoyable (I added seasonings to mine) and who knows you might enjoy it and have it become your new favorite. That said I prefer Dennison's Chili and Campbell's Firehouse. Never really been a fan of Hormel Chili. It just seems like something a panicked soccer mom would bring out at the last minute when unexpected guests arrive. But to each their own.

Pass on this one
More like soup or gravy, texture hardly any meat or beans and bland taste. Can had a huge dent at the top edge. Will not buy again. Im finding that purchasing food products on line is iffy, especially since they are not returnable. Save your money.

As always, a great product and a great value.
I love it and I just ordered more. It's one of the best chilies with beans that I found.
