These are exactly what I got them for - cheap table covers. Your best bet seems to be put the cover on 2 short ends of your table and then gently take both ends to the other corners at the same time. This may help them from ripping. Other than that it covers and protects the table top to a certain degree. When you are done gather them up and throw them away.

I splurged on these fitted banquet table covers for outside use because I was fed up with the wind ripping ordinary plastic tablecloths off. They perfectly fit a 6 ft. banquet table and the corners are snug enough so no more wind problems. I was able to get a few weeks of use out of one, but you have to be able to overlook the fading and blotchiness (suggest getting white). They do snag/tear easily. I would have given a higher rating but for these points. I definitely will buy more, but in white.

These are definately one time use. I used 3 of them for our folding table and a corner ripped on 2 of them while putting them on. They still stayed on the table but I would just try to be extra careful when putting them on so they don't rip.

Don't waste your money. I ordered 5 of these - granted they are cheap and I knew they would be throw aways. That is the reason I ordered them - to use once and throw them away... Unfortunately, you can not even put them on the table. No matter how hard you try and no matter how easy on them you are they just tear to shreds so my party had no table cloths and I am not happy.

For the money I was not expecting a durable tablecloth. Previous reviews had warned me that the table cover was thin and tears easily. I was okay with that knowing I was looking for a one-time use and the table would not get a lot of activity (I just needed it covered). The biggest problem for me was that the cover ripped at the corners as I was putting it on.I'll keep looking for another solution!

I was skeptical to buy these because of the previous low reviews, but we actually really liked them. I purchased 7 table cloths and was expecting them to be only good for one time use. However, at the end of the picnic, only one had to be thrown away and that was from food trays being drug across it and it left indentations and snags. The price isn't too bad and it was so convenient to not have to worry about them flapping all over the place with the wind. I would definitely purchase again.

I have not tried the table covers at this time, but the concept is great. I hated using the big white coverings that I had to tape onto the tables. These make it so much easier and no need to use tape. They can be wiped, so they are re-usable. The price was reasonable for a table cover that can be re-used. The other covers had tape on them, so they had to be thrown away and add to the landfills.

I purchased this tablecloth in three colors to take on an upcoming camping trip. I was excited to find a fitted tablecloth the right size to fit my table, but quite disappointed when it arrived. It is made of very thin plastic with no backing to protect it from ripping. I am glad I have spares to use in case of rips, but I would not recommend this product for any outdoor use.
