It's a great way to store combined liner notes and CDs after digitizing them.Each CD represents a personal fair use right to use the music. This clear plastic envelope works perfectly to archive the originals should ever I have to establish my right to the personal use of the music.After each CD was digitized both the CD and the "liner notes" (often a bit awkward to pry from the clear plastic jewel cases) fit nicely in the 100 micron clear flexible plastic CD/DVD Sleeve/Envelope. In my case none of the Sleeve/Envelopes tore, but a lot depends on how well the liner notes are trimmed.My good fortune was to find a "Snap-N-Store CD Storage Box" (ASIN B083BC58N7) that conveniently holds 200 CD & liner note packages in one robust box.Digitizing is a tedious job made a bit easier by these sleeve/envelope for the CD & liner notes boxes and the good fortune to find a storage box into which these Sleeve/Envelopes fits beautifully.NOTE: I'm not in a position to determine "Durability" and properly assess "Sturdiness" apart from saying "only time will tell" and noting that they served my needs at the time. Perhaps Amazon will offer "Don't know" or "Not Evaluated" in the future.

I got tired at looking at all of my DVDs in their cases sitting in the bookshelf and taking up roomo I bought these sleeves and also the snap it cd/DVD boxes and put them in those. Now instead of my DVDs taking up two whole bookcases, they only take up 1.5 shelves. Highly recommend, just don't forcefully open these and thenthey won't rip.

Each sleeve fits a booklet (unless it's extraordinarily thick) and up to 2 CDs (even 3 in some cases). I have less than 400 CDs, so I ordered 4 of these. But if your collection is over 400 CDs, get this 1000 pack which is less than half the price per sleeve (ASIN: B00S05UDD6)! I can fit 120 sleeves with booklets and CDs in the Snap-N-Store CD Storage Box (ASIN: B00062UW5A) and still be able to flip them for browsing.

My CD collection outgrew the amount of space I wanted to allocate for them, so I was looking for a way to consolidate them. I tried the big binders that hold four to a page and you flip through it to find what you want to listen to, but the pages slid around with the weight of the CDs and the binders were hard to zip. These little sleeves hold the CD booklet and 1-2 discs perfectly and you just tuck the back flap into the back of the sleeve to close. (No tabs or slots on the back to deal with, just a simple tuck. I stood them up in a shoebox-size media bin so I can flip through them like a card index. Bonus is that it keeps the discs safe if you want to pull a few out and toss in your bag to play in your car. I haven't handled them a lot so can't speak to their durability, but they didn't come apart even when I inserted a large booklet with two discs. The only small criticism I could give is that the flap is only gently scored, so I did have to slide my fingernail across the top after I closed the flap to make it lay completely flat. But it's a minor inconvenience compared to how much I love the result.
