Works well, easy to see!
This is a great tuner pedal. The price was right, the display is easy to read when you engage the pedal, and when not engaged, it’s completely dark and not distracting.

Satisfaction-baby!
Bough this after seeing very good reviews and video demos online. Sure enought, I too am extremely happy with the pedal which I use with a Fender electric mandolin. There are no unwanted hums or noises (the problem with the Boss blues OD pedal it replaced)- just many available authentic-sounding overdrive effects that are good for genuine blues and rock distortion. It definitely can be used as a 'clean boost' pedal - or with just a very light overdrive edge- with very good results. Designed superbly. Looks fantastic on my pedal board and thr price is great too. This pedal is all the more reason I'm a big fan of this market of small-sized superb value-priced pedals. I see and hear no reason to pay much more for an overdrive pedal or any pedal. I still need and will keep using 2 other OD pedals that have other characteristics (I mention this to point out that it may not cover the full-range of OD sounds you might want- but to me, this 100% ok and to be expected- not a flaw. Your opinion may vary as pedal sounds are very much a user taste/opinion thing.)

It’s good!
I bought this because i’ve been Wanting it for a long while now. The distortion is Amazing! It’s very easy to use and fraught foward. The tone is amazing! A bit smaller then i expected but it Is a Mini pedal after all.

Terrific tuner
A great purchase at a great price point. Works very well. I like the well-lit LED display as I practice in a dark area. Glad I bought this.

Really Gorgeous Little Phaser, way nicer than I expected - Recommended
GREAT little circuit. Analog, swooshy , deep sounding for such an inexpensive, budget pedal. I’m delighted with pretty much every aspect, it is low noise, zero issues such as popping noises or loud switches, no problems at all with hiss or hum, it’s just silent. There is no volume drop when activated. Just a very decent phaser that works as it should. Sounds nice for VH heavy tones too, turn the rate way down for that. The graphics and artwork are a little boring looking, I’d like to see them use cool icons like JHS pedals does, or better artwork, but we buy it to sound good, not look good. Very happy with my Stax phaser so far!

It's REALLY noisy.
I got this to record electric leads digitally without going through an amplifier and microphone. I've been looking for that sustained effect like the old Santana sound and using a Multi-Stomp for sustain wasn't getting there. The Stax pedal's distortion (fuzz) is suitable as long as the notes are held, but the 60-cycle hum between notes is almost as loud as the notes themselves and in a pure digital environment it's impossible to quell it effectively. I'm not angry at the manufacturer, and I don't resent the money spent. The thing is what it is and does what it says it'll do. But unless you're in a heavy metal band that almost exclusively plays live shows you might want to know how noisy it is before buying.

Order arrived a bit slow, but pedal is worth the money.
Order arrived a bit slow, but pedal is worth the money. The design of the STAX phaser is simple, easy to use, small footprint, and the bottom with rubber pad so doesn't slip on my pedal board. As others have suggested, STAX is probably made by the same outfit as Mooer (I have the A7 and D7) and a Rowin (I have a noise gate). I own an old MXR Phase 90, but needed something smaller, and also with the option of a more subtle phase effect (like the MXR Script). The vintage setting on this pedal seems to deliver that. I like the simplicity of this pedal design, one knob with a two way switch. And it looks good on the pedal board.

Significant Fuzz
It works great! Ground is decent so you can have high gain with barely any feedback. Obviously not the best of the best, but for jamming it hits the mark. Mine was orange and silver, not purple and green. Not a big deal but it doesn't look like the pictures
