Ideal EyewearFit Over Sunglasses with Polarized Lenses - Wear Over Prescription Glasses

This review is about the sunglasses, but, for some reason, Amazon has questions about shoes, of which I didn't buy as they wont work on my eyeglasses. These Sun Shield glasses fit over my glasses very nicely of which some people complained that theirs didn't. My glasses are about 5 3/4" across & 1 3/8" from top to bottom which is larger than the "normal" designer glasses that most people wear. The cost is a little high as these are not very strong & wont take too much punishment, but, they are light-weight & are very comfortable. It looks as though the lens can fall out without too much pressure, so I suggest that you should be gentle when you clean them. I am not active & so far I only wear them when I am sitting down so I don't need a strap to keep them on my face. I wish that we had more choices on the lens color, as I prefer blue for daytime & yellow at night, not these brown ones as I am not getting a true color of the world. I love the sides being wide with the little window as it does a great job of keeping the sun from hitting my eyes on the side which was a problem if the sun is low in the sky. I prefer these over the clip-ons & I got the pouch to store them in to help keep them clean when not being used. +JMJ+

These sunglasses are attractive and do fit over my glasses and block the sun, but they are huge! They barely fit into the overhead holder that my car has for sunglasses. I have had other fit-over sunglasses, and, even though those came in a couple of sizes, none of the choices I shopped for in person was as large as these. Since I only use the Sun Shield when driving, I have decided that I will just pretend I am movie star while in my car.

The glasses are very nice however the side pieces have popped out from day one. They are a very comfortable fit over glasses without making you look like an alien or ski instructor. Most people cant tell I have glasses underneath. The coverage is good but bummed about the side inserts popping out. Mine finally ended up lost but I still wear them ok. They look and fit very nice, not bulky. wanted to update - after a few YEARS I STILL have these glasses. I actually have ordered four, two as gifts and two for me. Downside my original pair seemed to be the lemon - minor issues. One screw keeps coming out of the hinge but I just put back in and tightten every few months. Having said that I wear these every single day so they have gotten the wear and tear and if thats the worst that happened Im not upset. So Im updating these to five stars for lasting and lasting and lasting with ny minor issues well past my expensive glasses

I ordered these to see if I would like using fit over sunglasses and surprisingly, I really like them. Lightweight despite being very large, they are easy for me to pop on and off. The polarized lens cut the glare and make driving easier; it took just a little while to get used to driving in them. I have very light eyes and they tire quickly in bright light and these help so much. My glasses have transitions darkening but in the car they do not darken enough for my taste.On the rare occasion that I wear contacts, I find myself preferring these over my much darker and more expensive sunglasses. The brown frame looks like regular sunglasses to me. I have been using these for a few months and they seem to be holding up without getting scratched up or stretched out of shape. I will be buying another pair to keep in the car- especially at this great price.

Fit beautifully over prescription lenses. Great sun/glare protection. Very comfortable. This recent purchase was a replacement for identical pair which I inadvertently dropped one night as I was coming in from the car. The dogs found them first. All that was left for me to find were the lenses which are evidently virtually indestructible.The frames, however, must be delicious as only a 1-inch piece of the ear piece was ever found. Ordered these replacements immediately as I cannot abide driving without them. They arrived pronto and are every bit as wonderful as the originals. Solar Shields have been a dismal experience, breaking far too easily in the exact same place everyone else seems to have had, and they are not nearly as comfortable to wear. The Solar Shields fit almost too closely, causing fogging of my corrective lenses. Sun Shields, Sun Shields, Sun Shields are the answer.

These things were great until the bows started breaking. I thought the first breakage (within a week) was due to my careless handling of storing them in the cubby in my car's dash. Should have taken that as a sign. I wore them lopsided for a few weeks until the other side went. What good luck! I'd purchased two pair. THE NEXT DAY, another broken bow, noticed it while I was wearing them and reached up to find the end hanging by a thread. This item is currently not available. Should it ever come back in stock, don't buy it. If I could give a negative number of stars, I would.

Have bought these several times as they fit well over my glasses. However, about half the time, one or both of the side lenses are loose or missing. Not sure why the vendor can't fix this. I bought two this time and both were defective! However. I'm keeping them and will attempt to cement the side lenses back as I really need to wear them.

One of the side lenses was dislodged and loose in the package. It did snap in easily. Hopefully it will not come out again. The design and value are similar to products I have used in the passed. I am satisfied with the purchase.
